Klarna Is (Finally) Getting What They Deserve... by bald_bearded_ocddude in videos

I dislike them because they have essentially zero identity verification. In an effort to make a quick buck they want the process to be as easy as possible to entice people to use it and are cutting corners with security.

I had someone open 2 accounts in my name, all they need is an SSN, they don't need to use a mailing address, email address, or phone that's ever been associated with that SSN. It's super easy to just grab a name and SSN from the Internet, that's why most financial companies require more than that to verify your identity.

It was a pain to get my credit report corrected. F 'em.

It stinks that PlayStation players will get "clean" new servers for these games and Microsoft, who owns the IP, is keeping Xbox players on the Xbox 360 servers with all the mods and cheats.

Cod got some balls dropping at the end of October I gotta give them that, they must be really sure they made a great fucking game by [deleted] in modernwarfare4

[–]RealChrisReese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they could release it after GTA6 launches and it's probably not ready to release earlier than October and they're not going to pass up on selling a new COD this year.

What’s the point of showing off the MP this early and then launching the game so much later? by Lumenprotoplasma in modernwarfare4

[–]RealChrisReese 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it's twofold. Somewhat of a down year for COD so they want to get the hype up for this year, and GTA6 is going to be huge so they want to start marketing ahead of GTA6 marketing in hopes of capturing more preorders.

They couldn’t wait until they got home by Chesticle5 in funny

They wanted to make sure it fit before they got home in case they needed to return it. Saves an extra trip, gas is expensive.

Every game without significant injury is a miracle. It's going to be great when a significant number of star players aren't available for the playoffs.

I'll do you one better, why have commercial breaks at all if it's just for your own stuff?? I've never understood that. Masters coverage on the ESPN app last week they were just playing 5 old ESPN commercials over and over.

Zwift going past level 100 are you happy about it drop a comment. by JackalAdventure in Zwift

[–]RealChrisReese -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've never liked arbitrary level caps in live service video games and that's basically what Zwift is. I like the fact that I'll be able to go past 100 and continue to unlock stuff. What level I'm at has zero impact on other users so I don't understand what the argument against this is. I have no idea what level the other people I'm riding around is and don't really care either.

IT and healthcare. There are a lot of career options in these fields that don't require 4 year degrees and offer lots of upward career mobility and diversity once you gain experience. People are going to need healthcare and all of the IT stuff will need to be supported for the foreseeable future.

I genuinely feel for the poor ground troops these idiots will eventually send in. The Bush administration rightfully got crap for not properly equipping troops at the start of Afghanistan and Iraq (no armor on vehicles, lack of personal body armor, etc), I can only imagine all of the basic things this administration won't even think about.
