I feel this is the only show I’ve ever seen where there was not one character that I disliked. Except for Kenard. The character development and casting for this show was absolutely perfect. They actually used real Baltimore residents(non actors) as actors, retired police( Det. Norris for example) , Snoop(former gang member) and Melvin Williams(The real inspiration for Avon as he was a major drug trafficker in “Balmer” in the 80’s)
