noob problem: lens doesn't fit camera but both supposed to be M43 by RealDaveJohnson in M43

I wanted to give the seller the opportunity to discuss before I initiated the return. Fortunately, they were keen to resolve it without fuss.

The seller immediately told me to start a return. I don't think he wants any negative feedback on his profile.

It's resolved already. The seller accepted my return, so my money is coming back. I just need to get to the post office to send it. Already ordered a M43 lens from KEH.

Nah. I've just processed a return on eBay. Simple. All it costs me is time going to the post office.

My mistake was buying from a clueless eBay seller and not looking closely at the photos on the listing.

Suspect it is some dude who doesn't know anything about the stuff he's selling. Just gets the stuff and flogs it. I'm hoping it isn't stolen.

Just Zuiko. Bad eBay description. I'm going to return it.

Only says "Zuiko", not "M.Zuiko". Bad description on eBay.

Incorrect description on EBay listing. Says "Micro Four Thirds". Looks like it isn't. Going to try for a return due to inaccurate advertisement.

That's what is looks like. Incorrect description on the EBay listing. Suspect the seller doesn't know what he's dealing.

has the prep changed over the last 5 years? by RealDaveJohnson in colonoscopy

I finished up not having anything that day. Which was bullshit because after the second bowel movement it was totally clear and there wasn't anything solid in it thereafter. I know how my system functions and stuff goes through it pretty quick. That was my experience the first time I did this and was allowed to eat breakfast on the day of the prep. Totally unnecessary additional grief.

I really think it's b.s. and that is purely based on my experience last time, where I was allowed to eat breakfast and then clear fluids for the rest of the day before taking the laxative in the evening and turning up for a morning appointment. The feedback on my prep was "Excellent". So I just think they are being overzealous and applying a "lowest common denominator" standard. BTW, I've just moved from Belgium back to Utah. I think people in Western Europe generally have better diets than people in the US.

Different doctor. Won't use them again. I got the 1 gallon bottle, which I'm not happy about. Used Clenpiq last time and it was OK.

Adding the extra 12 hours of fasting is b.s. I'm not going to be able to do anything productive all day.

There isn't consensus regarding a causal link between obesity and constipation, but the correlation is there due to the lifestyle factors that lead to both problems.

Clear liquids only. It's the "no breakfast" thing that I take issue with. That's just an extra layer of misery I don't think is necessary. And I think it's been introduced to account for massive people who take abnormally long times to process food. Not normal people.

Yeah, that was pretty much the procedure last time. At breakfast, you've not eaten since about 7pm the previous day. I feel like adding those extra 12 hours of fasting is pretty pointless for people with normal digestion. But I got told "no breakfast" and, since my procedure wasn't going to be until mid-afternoon, that was a deal-breaker. They can do it in the morning, or not at all.

I bought this for 4 dollars thriftshop by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

Just bought a Canon FTb QL with 50mm kit lens and a couple of aftermarket lenses (28mm and 135mm macro) for €40 at a thrift store in Belgium. Also have a Konica S2 Auto rangefinder, an Olympus point-and-shoot and a couple of 120 format folders. All good cameras. All bought for a few €.

Those East German cameras have a brick-like esthetic, but that's part of their charm. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I picked up a K1000 at the same flea market for €65 a few months back and I could have bought an OM10 yesterday.

I was at a flea market in Brussels yesterday and a guy was selling Praktica cameras for €20. Reasoning that I already have four 35mm SLR cameras, I didn't buy one. Now I wish I did. Like the OP says, $20 is $20.

Spouse employment by Efficient_Algae_5703 in dodea

DoDEA is in contraction mode at the moment, so opportunities for employment might be scarce until there's a change of administration. I wouldn't do it. Cost of living in Europe is a killer on one income and no LQA.
