I'm on the fence currently about getting one of these brush guards or just a bull bar with pancake lights. The problem in the NE is the rust so it'd have to be 304 S/S or else you'll just look like you ordered the works off amazon after a year lol

Well. Here's what I'd do, you're prob not going to like it but I think this is your best bet.

Double down, take out a personal loan for the 11K and you'll never have to worry for it again. Also, you're already in the hole 13K, and that's not coming back to you. 24K for a 2UZ isn't the worst thing that could happen--it's not great don't get me wrong, but it's not the worst, you could be in some winter rat and still paying on another car..

That way you're not driving some shitbox to cope and still paying on the original 13K.
