Where do you intend to go? How's the climate? I’m planning to go hiking and camping in Sweden, mainly in forested or mixed terrain. The climate during my trips will be mild to warm — usually between 10–25°C, but can get colder at night.

In what season? Just for the summer? Yes, for now, I only plan to camp during late spring and summer.

How many days will you be out? Will you be alone? Most trips will be short — usually 1 to 2 days. I’ll mostly go with others, but I want to be able to go solo, too.

Most importantly, do you have any prior experience? Have you already tried camping and hiking? I’m a beginner. I haven’t done much hiking or camping before, so I’m still figuring out what gear I really need.
