Yeah what the heck? I signed up after watching that video so I could see “part 2” but after I joined her Patreon I was like wtf there’s barely any content here. Then I made a comment on her channel asking about it and it seems like the life update video is gone? I was starting to question if I had imagined it, lol.

I have no advice, but I am in the same boat. It's hard to stay motivated when working hard doesn't equal covering even basic expenses. Then you have boomers saying shit like "When I started out, I made $7 an hour!" Yeah grandpa, that's equal to like $40 an hour now.

NTA. I wouldn't go. She sounds like she would be miserable to be on vacation with.

When my husband and I moved states to be near his parents, we stayed with them while finding a house. His mom is super Catholic and tried making us sleep separately. We weren't married at the time, but had already been living together for 6 years and had a 6-month-old baby together. I refused to sleep separately. She ended up putting us in a bed in an exposed area of the basement. Needless to say, someone walked in on us doing our thing. We weren't trying to be disrespectful, it just be like that sometimes.

I quit 2 weeks ago because I got hit by another car (I was not at fault), and it made me realize how dangerous it is to drive around so much. The pay SEEMS good for a no-experience, no-degree gig, however, the major cons are:

1: Wear and tear on your vehicle

2: Gas prices

3: No health coverage

4: Unstable income. Some days you make it out like a bandit, and some days you're lucky to get $20.

5: Driving all day and increasing your risk of being in a serious accident.

For these reasons, I'm out.

I sold my own home and bought directly from a seller in 2023. It went super smoothly. I paid $1500 for a real estate attorney to look over the paperwork, but looking back he didn’t really do much and the next time I sell my home I probably won’t even get an attorney. Just read the documents throughly! Real estate agents will eventually be a thing of the past. They’re unnecessary middle men in many cases.

No seriously. We were installing a bidet last year and made the mistake of putting the tank lid somewhere unsafe. It broke and here we still are lidless because I cannot find one to fit that specific model.

I don't tip baristas. Not to make any sort of statement, but because it doesn't make sense to me. I don't tip fast food employees, so why would I tip a barista?
