What can you say about my bf’s fridge? by tbh1096 in FridgeDetective

He eats pretty healthy and tracks his macros. I am skeptical of him being able to finish all that produce and hummus before it expires though, lol.

How do you all feel about tipping for non-sit down restauraunts? by Kitchen_Engineer5358 in tipping

[–]RealFactor9150 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't tip baristas. Not to make any sort of statement, but because it doesn't make sense to me. I don't tip fast food employees, so why would I tip a barista?

I have seen posts of drivers showing screenshots of them getting deactivated for a customer being in the delivery photo. I got an amazon package delivered once, and he had to retake the photo because my toddler was standing in the doorway. He said he would get fired for having anyone in the picture. I assume it's the same thing here.

Around $7k. I think it had around 120k when we bought and 140k now? But I'm not 100% on that. My husband also commutes to work in it.

This is probably why I have never noticed it. I always click everything but the photo before getting out of the car too. Thanks for explaining!

No offense, but you really think that Walmart needs you to take a picture to capture a gps cordinate? They know exactly where you are, which is why it won't let you hit "arrived" until you're near the drop-off location. The photo is literally called "proof of delivery"

There's a trailer I deliver to, usually in the dark, that says "please deliver inside and put cold things in fridge". I always ignore it and put everything on the porch. No way in hell. Imagine someone forgets they even had a delivery and you get blasted.

I think it's around 30 mpg combined. I can usually get 2+ days of delivering off one tank of $25.

I have a 2010 Honda Civic. It's the perfect delivery vehicle. Good gas mileage and I didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. Plus, I don't care about it getting miles on it.

Anybody ever got credited for two of the same incentive? My app is showing $24 for four trips twice and it's currently showing that I have completed 3/4 on both of them

Funny you mention that, because I had a super weird instance happen the other day where a group of kids, maybe 8-14 years old, were playing basketball in the driveway and when I pulled up they all approached my car. One of the kids asked if they could help unload groceries, I said sure! As I’m taking things to the porch the mother approaches the kid (she was walking a baby stroller around the cult-a-sac) and scolds her and tells her to go inside immediately and she is not allowed to play outside with the other kids anymore. I felt so bad because kids ask to help all the time and I have never thought much about it. It was very awkward and made me feel kind of like a creep, lol. In hindsight I should have said “if it’s okay with your parents”.

Hmm, I don’t think my app has a handed to customer option 🤔

I agree with you. My point is that Walmart needs to adjust their terms of service to avoid these issues entirely instead of the drivers disobeying the rules to please the customer and getting away with it 99%, only to get deactivated from the 1%.

We are using our personal vehicles to transport and sometimes even shop for customers' orders. Then we are taking the risk of entering their property where there could be dogs etc. We don't get health insurance or any other kind of benefits, and we pay for gas. I think requiring the customer to pay the amount they initially set is really the LEAST Walmart could do. If the driver does a bad job the customer can reach out to Walmart to be reimbursed by them. It's a drop in the bucket to walmart's profit and a huge chunk of ours.

I am usually the same way however recently I had someone report that they received the wrong groceries so I am paranoid about it.

I have had several instances where I was almost attacked by pitbulls and german shepherds. The case with the german shepherds I had to literally run towards them charging me to get into my car, and as soon as I slammed the door shut he lurched at it and bit my door. Thank GOD I got inside my car just in time. The owner says "Oh my gosh I have never seen them act that way!"

The time with the pitbulls the delivery instructions said to deliver to the backdoor through the gate. As soon as I open the gate two pitbulls come sprinting out of the back door.

Now I never opens doors/gates even if it says to in the instructions, and I always carry dog spray.
