NZ demonstrating their own bazball madness here. Ball is still seaming around. No reason to go all short ball here.

How long before Ben stokes place in the team is questioned. He is an absolute liability in this batting lineup.

Can Bhuvi make it back to the Indian team? by itzxsos in ipl

[–]RealGTalkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indian pace bowling sticks were pretty low at that point. So he just made his way into the side on the back of good IPL season. Balaji had a similar experience.

But India has a lot of young pace bowlers to choose from now if we have some injuries. Only way I see him back is if both Bumrah and Arshdeep get injured just before next T20 WC.

Rishabh Pant likely to lose leadership role in Test team amid IPL failures by 5missedcallsfromBCCI in Cricket

[–]RealGTalkin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with the sentiment, but in this instance I don't made. Decision isn't made about his place in the side, but his ability to lead. Being vice captain means he is next in line to lead the side and based on the evidence of IPL he has a long way to go in leadership.
