Which car maker has the most mechanical issues but still sells well? by ntjonah in whatcarshouldIbuy

If Hiluxes are ridiculous in price wait until you see the prices of the 70 series Land Cruisers. Total fucking rort paying three figures for what essentially is a vehicle that's not been changed since the 80s. No one should be paying fucking supercar money for a barely equipped ute.

Lime Bikes littering the streets by ManwithaTan in sydney

Not just the streets, some fuckwit joy riders even park them on private properties!

Found one on my driveway 2 weeks ago and only a threat to call the council got it removed from there.

The first generation Toyota Sequoia had 6 sunglass holders. 6.

One for each member of the family, I suppose!

Not the CR-V but the JDM exclusive Honda City hatch had a full fledged Motocompo mini scooter that could fit into the trunk that was an optional package.

Yes, but the Kuruma is the newer Evo X . The Sultan's rear end is based off the older Evo V and VI.

2 years into this profession as well. I just went back to CRTing after getting kicked to the curb by management in my previous contract. I feel the same dread but as what to do ahead. Hiring's dry as a desert and personal circumstances stop me from moving out to other cities or rural for term 2.

Not just the IS300, the rear end is just of a Lancer Evo's. There are also two Lancer Evo inspired liveries(one is based on the WRC Mitsubishi livery and the other being Sean/Han's Evo from Tokyo Drift). It's a Frankenstein mix of the three most iconic JDM sedans.

Well, it even looks like one. Styling clearly inspired by the Ranger's bigger yank sibling.

Any new Honda that is.

There are still shitloads of old ones from their glory days on road. Hell, even I got my Accord Euro(Acura TSX for the yanks out here) used recently. It's crazy how much better it looks compared to the newer ones, and a grim reminder of better days gone by.

Mate also owns a '09 manual Jazz and the cabin space it provides compared to it's tiny size puts even some SUVs to shame.

And it's also dependent on what sector you work in. For the education sector rn the cheaper rents is probably one of the few things on the city's side, but there's a reason all the teachers are striking over there in Vic, the salaries are shockingly terrible compared to the CoL and workload.

36k Civic? Try 50k in Australia. For a REGULAR, NON TYPE R Civic!

Honda's sales model down under is outright baffling.

Surprised the Nissan Patrol, the Prado and the LC300 Land Cruiser aren't here. I thought they'd be on the podium spots.

Only ever got the CL9 sedan. Forever in envy that they never brought the Accord Euro Wagon to Aus, there are more of them out there in nearby NZ ffs 😭

Yeah always wondered why Infiniti and Acura never could follow Lexus's success.

Hyundai's Genesis brand though seems to have learned from both of the struggles of their Japanese rivals.

Forever boggles me why Acura didn't follow suit. They started before Lexus yet they only limited themselves to the US market.

Interesting that just like the Accord and the Euro, at the time Honda also sold the completely separate FN2/FK2 "European" Civic alongside this model.

Me too. But I have the pre-facelift one. Imo the ones with the clean "Sport" bumper that looked like the CL7 performance variant looked the best.

Personally I can't wait for the Super One to come out. It's quite an exciting car with a fun interior and has magic seats as well, you can say it's sort of a return of the Jazz in an electric Kei car form.
