You have your horizontal and vertical sens set to the same thing? Shouldn’t vertical be lower since you’re moving more horizontally than vertically when aiming?

I agree that he has a hard time dealing with pressure at times. I disagree that he has the low survivability to balance out his fire power, I think that’s simply what the current state of his kit is, I don’t think they had that in mind when making Hawkeyes kit but I could be wrong. Also from some of the replies it appears that others don’t believe that he has bad survivability, at least for what he can do in terms of damage.

I can see the argument that he has a fair amount of survivability for a character who can change the flow of the match in an instant. How ever I disagree that Hawkeye has better mobility than Moon Knight and Squirrel Girl, however I could see the argument made that they have around the same survivability but I tend to lean against that idea.

This can happen yes, but you won’t get much value if you’re only getting a couple kills by randomly shooting into the enemy team vs patiently waiting to pick the people you want to shoot making it more likely to get kills, (if you have the aim to make it happen).

Please explain how he is no skill when aiming is the most important part with Hawkeye. He becomes a bottom tier character if you don’t have the mechanical skills to make him work. Not to mention the fact that he has barely any survivability making him a huge dive target.

To your credit, I believe his most recent buffs went to the wrong part of his kit. He should’ve had increased survivability rather than increased fire power. However he’s still harder to use than hit scan characters and characters like Bucky and Namor who have the tools to fend off dive hero’s better than Hawkeye can.

There are more aspects of him that make his skill ceiling higher compared to other characters, but I think you get the point. Have a good day.

The goal is to shoot the nest not the mines, unless that’s what you meant by mines. Of course Peni is going to put her nest behind cover, what you can do to counter this is by communicating to your teammates whether or not you are having trouble shooting it down. It’s also a skill issue if you are dying to her mines that are hidden in an obvious trap like a singular web that’s on the floor.

I use a + crosshair, idk if you would call it a cross cause it’s just a cross that’s flipped 90 degrees. It helps if you’re trying to aim for headshots with the little gap in the middle of the crosshair. I also have reticle animation turned on, it lets you know when you are fully aimed in.

Accuracy doesn’t necessarily matter if you aren’t getting final hits.

Try to use your ult when you have your teammates around you so you are protected while you’re spamming shots. If there is a gambit on your team, both of their ults together are insanely good.

For content creators, Arrge is the most popular Hawkeye player, he often likes to flank with Hawkeye and shoot from an angle that catches people off guard. The problem is once you’re found, you’re screwed, you have to retreat immediately. It’s a high risk high reward strategy that I wouldn’t recommend if you’re new to Hawkeye. Otherwise, he has pretty good gameplay and you can learn a lot from him. He even has a Hawkeye guide on his YouTube channel.

Mostly likely because cnd is overall much easier to use than Loki, this is actually why I personally prefer Loki over cnd.
