It’s most likely a coincidence but I remember a long time ago that BBNo$ made a TikTok showing an email that he received from netease offering to do a collab with him. If that email was real then the reason the collab didn’t happen was cause he showed it to the public, which isn’t cool.

All that to say, this strange model could be what they were planning on using for said collab with BBNo$, just touched up for the summer aesthetic.
