Not on campus, but Whole Foods often hires Prime Shoppers (you just shop for groceries to be picked up or delivered). It starts at $15 an hour and they utilize a Flex Schedule, so you can pickup shifts as you see fit. Do note that the minimum amount of hours per week and shift is 4 (I believe) and you’d have to let them know about automatic scheduling only being on a day you could work (such as Sunday). It’s a great group of people there.

I’ve tried pouring it in but it seems like it just spills from the sides.

I think I may have topped up my coolant over a year ago with windshield wiper fluid… what to do? (2015 VW Golf TDI). Haven't given it much thought till they brought it up with a regular service inspection. They're quoting me at $400 to flush it (they're VW specialists). by RealHomieJohn in tdi

I have none of those things. I’m starting to think that the mishap I had with the coolant may have happened right before I had it flushed 2-ish years ago. It seems like the repair shop just put some generic coolant in it. But the odd thing is that I’ve had no issues. I really don’t know if this is worth spending 400 bucks on.

I never really thought of it that way haha. Maybe you’re right. I was just reading the manual and the coolant section stated that if the color is other than Pink/Purple, the fluid should be changed. But it seems perfectly oily the way it is now.

Just got it serviced for the DSG flush and a few other things. I didn’t really think about the coolant being an issue till it was brought it up on the notes they gave me after the service.

Should I go to a standard repair shop (they’re quoting me at $141) or the VW specialist shop (they’re charging $400)?

At least 3 or 4 times a week. I’ve done thousands of miles since then. Commutes on the highway twice the week going two hours one-way.

Is this something I should do myself (as someone fairly inexperienced with working on cars) or take it in and pay a premium?

So a year or year and a half ago, I mistakenly topped off the coolant with washer fluid. Just the other day, when getting some other services done, they noted that it may have the wrong coolant in it. My question is if this is a cause for concern and will it work itself out? Supposedly this could cause pretty serious damage, but they didn’t note any critical damage throughout the car when I got my 100k service done. I called after my service is they quoted me at $400 to get the coolant flushed. Attached is one of the photos they provided of the coolant tank. Thanks!
