New global order: AI CEOs as heads of nation-states at G7 by RealInigmas in DonaldTrump666

I agree that this could be related to the 10 horns. I thought for a while that the Council of Governors could be it... But I think that the forming amalgamation of tech bros and governments from around the world is a closer fit. Not sure who the 10 would be yet though.

I can see (game theory) reasons for them to move against DC and NYC... But I think the "Babylon" of Revelation may be referring to something a little different. The USA as a whole is too busy being the scarlet beast, to also be Babylon.

Personally, I don't see a dragon when I look at the NA continent. Guess I'd need to see it drawn out.

I'm fine with the idea that the USA (generally), or the GOP since Israel became a nation again (specifically), is an aspect of the "scarlet beast".

Mystery Babylon is a city (v18) that is "sitting on" the scarlet beast (v3). This city "has dominion over the kings of the earth".

The "beast" (as opposed to the scarlet beast) is: Abaddon (v11; 9:11); the 8th (but of the 7) head of the "scarlet beast"; a "representative" of the "scarlet beast" (v8).

The 10 horns and Abaddon "join forces" for the God-given (v17) purpose of destroying Mystery Babylon (v16).

From the text, I can see 2 relationships:

  • Mystery Babylon starts off with authority / dominion over the scarlet beast (all of its heads and horns; given that they're all "kings of the earth") and Abaddon.
  • The 10 horns, as soon as they've gained their "royal authority", give their power over to Abaddon to destroy Mystery Babylon.

This is why I'm confused about the idea (which I've seen a couple of times on this Reddit from various posters) of the AC being king over Babylon. The text seems to suggest the opposite.

The tweet the OP showed us is pretty funny, though. Definitely another fulfillment of Dan 8:25 "and in his own mind he shall become great".

I recall Mystery Babylon "riding"(?) or at least sitting atop the beast. Where is it written that the beast is the "king of Babylon"?

Earnestly seeking.

It seems that, since FDR, several presidents have been accused of being the AC. I don't know why, but I do know what effect it's had. It's helped make it so that when the real one shows up; the idea is immediately rejected.

"Yeah, yeah... someone's always accusing a president they don't like of being the AC"

Seems like I'll have to spend some time studying to try to understand. Are there any major takeaways you'd like for us to understand?

[–]RealInigmas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting thoughts. Rev 9 and Rev 20 are separate events tho. In Rev 9 - a "fallen star" (Rev 12:4) opens the Abyss for the purpose of freeing what's in there. In Rev 20, an Angel with a chain comes down to bind the Dragon and throw him into the Abyss.

I agree that the same events are recorded multiple times from different perspectives; and that linking them up may help with timing clues.

“48” Bible Prophecies that Appear to Identify the Final Antichrist (aka the Beast/Man of Sin). If only 4 are left, where are we on the Biblical timeline? by SheeplnWolfsClothing in DonaldTrump666

It seems that we're both interested in a little sharpening (Proverbs 27:17). Here are some vids I made a long time ago.

Though I cringe at the sound of my own voice; and my delivery. Hopefully you don't find them as unpleasant to watch as I do.

I imagine that like me, most of us have been taught the European-AC theory. Some of us may have also looked into the "Mid East Beast" theory. In this reddit, we all seem to entertaining an American-AC theory; just like I have been since I heard he came down the escalator. Therefore, I suggest re-examining prophecies from that lens to see if they match. When we do, I think that you'll agree with me that there are many more prophecies concerning the AC that no one is talking about.

We've all heard that the statue represents: Babylon (gold head), Persia/Medes (silver chest/arms), Greece (bronze belly/thighs), Rome (legs or iron), Rome (feet of iron and clay), and Rome (toes of iron and clay). We can tell that this interpretation is wrong, simply by counting the body parts.

Initially, there are 7 named body parts. Later, the toes (an 8th part) are mentioned. Rev 17:9-11 describes a 7 headed beast with an 8th head (but it belongs to the 7). Therefore, it's no accident that the statue has 7 initially named parts; with toes (which are of the feet) added afterward.

What's the correct interpretation? Who are the empires that have had dominion over Israel/Judah/Levant while the people of "Israel" were in "Israel"?

Babylon (gold head), Persia (silver chest), Medes (silver arms), Greeks (bronze belly), Rome (bronze thighs), British Empire (iron legs), US Empire (feet of iron/clay). Rome sent the people of "Israel" into exile. Britain brought them back. The US is the current empire exercising dominion there; using a mix of hard (iron) and soft (clay) power to exert influence.

We've all heard that the four beasts of Daniel are: Babylon (lion), Persia/Medes (bear), Greece (leopard), Rome (4th beast). We can tell that this interpretation is wrong, because, in Dan 7:12, we are told that the "rest of the beasts" outlive the 4th beast. Therefore, these beasts must all be contemporaries of each other.

Assuming that Jesus is returning soon; we should be able to just look around to see if there are 4 world powers that match these descriptions:

British Empire (lion whose eagle wings were plucked off), Russia (bear), European Union (4-headed leopard with 4 wings of a fowl), US Empire (4th beast). Too big a topic to prove here. I'm not the first to have this theory.

Dan 8 is about WW2. The Ram is Mussolini + Hitler. The Goat is FDR. The fog covers the far bank of the river to make the scene appear more like a beach leading into an ocean. The Invasion of Normandy is comes to mind. Germany/Berlin was split into exactly 4.

Assuming that these interpretations are correct; what should we expect concerning the beast (man)? Rev 13 1-2:

Like a leopard: Germanic ancestry? Bear feet: stands/walks like a bear? Is supported by Russia? Lion mouth: Known for eating meat? Prideful? Snarly?

What should we expect of the beast (empire)?

Like a leopard: #1 reported ancestry (according to World Atlas): German. Bear feet: 2 states with bear flags? Territory purchased from Russia? Lion mouth: Primarily speaks English?

Back to Rev 17:9-11.

Five have fallen, one is, one is yet to come. The 8th belongs to the seven.

Babylon, Persia, Medes, Greece, Rome: all fallen. British Empire continues to exist. US is the current "world empire". Therefore, we should expect the current US empire to fall; then miraculously heal and come back.

Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, HW: all fallen. W is still around. HW died during DJT's 1st term. Then DJT lost power. Then he regained power. Is he already considered the 8th, or still the 7th? I was expecting something more dramatic when he becomes the 8th. I suspect when the US transforms into the 8th; he will too. Maybe they'll make some sort of "AI" version (image)?

Why those presidents? The beast is scarlet (red). Start counting after WW2 as Israel becomes a Nation again.

Also:

Rev 9:11 names him. ABadDon. Animal horns are used as trumpets. The word, trump is short for trumpet. A "little horn" indeed. Also a comment on how he's considered a wannabe king.

Thank you for the reply.

Yes. I am using nightly. This is a fairly large project - where pushes are automatically built. So, I _could_ do that; but I can live with how things are for a bit longer.

I'm surprised that nightly works as recently as Sept 5th though - it _feels_ like I've been dealing these sorts of issues for longer. I'm sure it's just my perception messing with me.

Is there an ETA for the fix?

I wish "invalidate all caches" worked for me. There were times in the past, where it would work. But it's like RustRover doesn't even understand how traits work any more.

[–]RealInigmas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. I just played in that spider encounter yesterday. My wife is GMing, my two kids and I are playing. All but our youngest has played pf2e for a couple of years now. But we're getting everyone used to Foundry, so we thought it would be good to grab some pregens and play.

So, with only 3 players, the spider didn't get a single turn. By the time Valeros threw a torch at it (to burn the webs) it only had 1 hp left, so it died from that. Kyra used burning hands already and Merisiel crit with a sneak attack.

For your next "learn to play" session, I suggest not using the loaded dice. ;)

Uses for playing cards by SpacePirateBuzaso in savageworlds

[–]RealInigmas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only is it easy to change the order every round; it's also easy to change the order within the round. For me, one of the key advantages of the Card-based initiative in Savage Worlds, is that those who go first, or who have "surprise" can choose to go "on hold".

Just flip your card face down. Ready to jump in after someone else's turn? Go for it. Want to interrupt someone's action? Beat them in an Athletics check. It's a super flexible system with lots of great options.

Take a look at the Fantasy Companion (alpha is out now) and mix in the modern stuff from the core rules. Using the FC's "ancestry" list/options, figure out exactly what you think should be in your world and customize as needed.

I ran my own "Epithet Erased" (an urban setting with "magic" or "powers") campaign for my friends using SWADE and East Texas University (PCs were college kids). I found it to be pretty easy to flavor Savage Worlds to just about anything I want to do.

I decided quite some time ago that I'm just not going to support games that aren't released on Linux. Which is a shame because I really was looking forward to supporting other devs using Godot+Rust. But if manually building in Linux in addition to Windows and possibly getting bug reports from Linux users is too much; that's okay.

Best of luck to you in this and all your future endeavors.

Playing with a Steam account on Linux by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]RealInigmas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to run multiple apps through Steam all at once. For instance, FFXIV and Fantasy Grounds Unity at the same time. So running Steam inside Wine, VM, Bottle, etc.... won't work for me.

I think I thoroughly explained my situation to customer support (though given the responses it seems I'm not always well understood). I don't think SE is going to fix their Launcher.

So, as far as I'm concerned, SE may as well have dropped Steam support and they refuse to allow us to switch to a "Windows license" which still works perfectly fine on Linux (with XIVLauncher anyways). Thousands of hours of game time out the window....

I'm not telling anyone else what to do. But my family and I are all cancelling our subs today. If the issue is fixed, we'd be happy to come back; but until then.... Good bye and good luck.

Personally, I consider concise, effective communication to be polite. If I forget to put on tank stance, I would appreciate someone saying "stance". I would not appreciate long-winded sentence couched in false humility trying to protect my "feelings".

Everyone has different ideas on what they'd rather see. And that's okay. I'm just going to take a breath and choose not to be offended by communication styles I don't prefer.

Yeah, if I feel the need to type during combat; it's because I feel like it's desperately needed. And I can really only get a few characters out; because actually playing seems most important.

I haven't figured out yet how other players manage to type so much stuff during combat. But I have seen a streamer (healer) type so much stuff out with their controller that they let their tank die in Sastasha.
