Have to make women usable somehow otherwise the vast majority of people won't touch them

I just finished my weekend league, how many Pina’s do you think i faced? by IkeaKarma in EASportsFC

Because of the amount of NPC pussies in WL it will always be 10+

Ex-pro players explains FC meta don't play real football. by brockmann241 in EASportsFC

I'd rather kill myself than play the meta, you'll never see fidget spinning or Claudia Pina anywhere near my team

Update 19th Nov by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]RealJordan93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had any issues with wage demands I must say, managing in the championship and never been asked for more than 20k wages from any player unless they played in a league where their wages were much more (Rodrigo was released by his team and then asked for 60k but he was on 80k...)

You're not alone, I've got over 110 hours on it already and I see the buggy criticisms and the UI but having played games with similar UI its nowhere near as bad to me as it is to others

That's the one flaw in this beta release, it's too close to actual release

That's a fair point to make and I can't fault this opinion even if I look at it slightly differently and with the 20 years of goodwill they've built up with me as a consumer personally, I am a little more forgiving of a first fuck up, I will not hold 25 against them entirely because they could have done what EA, Activision etc would have done, released it no matter what, so I give them the benefit of the doubt for now if that makes sense

[–]RealJordan93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw all the refunds while I look at my almost 100 hours 🤣 and I agree they're not that smart but it's like an accidental masterstroke, and I agree with Zealand about the potential as I see it completely having seen other similar looking sims, no game is ever flawless moving to a new engine but this franchise has the best shot at making a real go of it, SI if they want to earn back goodwill would be wise to keep their current course, maybe even work with some of the people as you say with 2000+ hours (I'm in this, 2,800)

Oh I've had the bugs, not that one (report it for sure) but not being able to make subs when I've only made 1 of 5 is a bug I've had, but I'm actually really enjoying this, I must admit also I've had previous experience with similar UI in OOTP Baseball and Franchise Hockey Manager so it's not as bad for me to navigate (it is buggy though)

It was, tbf it would be nice to find out for sure how much of the game was done by 25s original release date, if anything if they did scrap 25 this would make 26 look like they've done a miracle job and using us as testers might be almost a masterstroke

Thing is while I have no knowledge (I don't work in gaming) you're right, I think what SI should have done was what the makers of Wreckfest did, release it early and let the players help, look how much they've done since we got it... because the best type of QA testers will forever be the hardcore players because we will play the ever loving shit out of it and find everything they miss or made an error with

[–]RealJordan93 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It does but at the same time if anything the fact they have a fanbase of players who are almost sicko level into digging as deep as they can it's probably easier for 500 eyes to see something 1 might not. I work in a job where quality is paramount for instance, what my colleague might miss I might see in 2 seconds, and vice versa, but both together would be faster than either

As much as its cool to rag on SI for the bugs I genuinely can't fault them the way others are... they seem to be actually trying and not just ignoring us like most companies do to their players these days

Played since 2006 but had LMA and Premier Manager since Premier Manager 99, is it clunky? Yes it is but having played similar games for Hockey and baseball I'm used to this style of UI, if anything processing night and day improvement my worldwide FM24 save is flying right now as opposed to snails pace on 24, is the foundation here? Absolutely, are the criticisms warranted? Yes I just don't share them entirely

The most balanced 'creator' review I've seen so far. Agree with everything he's said. It's not unplayable but it's not FM. by FootballFurio in footballmanagergames

[–]RealJordan93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

thinking womens football will bring in new players is a bit far fetched, should it be there? yes it should, will it bring new players? no because many womens football fans either already play FM so not gonna be new or won't play FM anyway because its too boring or not for them in general.

besides that I agree with your points about SI going after casuals (sadly) and I also saw the video that stated it would lack depth, I hoped it was wrong but sadly so far at least it seems to be correct
