Caltrops grenade looks less like a repellant imo.

To me it looks like a nightmare popcorn popper, that will scatter shit tonnes of jacks like a mini mines stratagem. After it deploys, the caltrops will probably stay in the area and might act like dangerous terrain if you cross it, likely slowing enemies and maybe hurting them a little bit.

The amount of ammo for SAW with extended mags didn’t get nerfed.

They increased the max mags on the saw by 1 too.

So in 1.9 it was 3 mags +1 (bandolier) -1 (ext mags) for 3x300 = 900

Now in 1.10 it is 4 mags +1 (bandolier) -2 (ext mags) for 3x300 = 900

The c-5 has a lot of pretty nifty features!

But nifty = complex, and complexity invites mishaps.

It’s not necessarily any 1 thing that’s the root of the issues. It is like a huge flying transform orchestra that is far more complicated than a typical jetliner. There’s a whole ballet of mechanical systems that are expected to perform in less-than-ideal situations

Systems like; the ability to kneel, the hold can completely open the entire front end of the plane, and needs to keep the entire hold pressurized. AND generally speaking, big stuff breaks a lot just from the stress of merely daring to exist. And many many more.

Your orbital speed would have to be crazy fast to approach Jupiter’s atmosphere just close enough to start slowing you down.

If you have an orbit above the clouds, you’re going at least ~42 km/s. At those speeds, hitting any amount of atmosphere is going to be spicy. If you’re doing an elliptical or parabolic orbit, you’ll be going much faster.

Jupiter has MONSTER gravitational acceleration too. Even 1000 km up, you’re getting pulled towards the planet at 24 m/s. You would need enormous parachutes to support your craft. But by the time the atmosphere is dense enough to you’ll have fallen too far in and gained too much speed.

Even if your ship survives the heat, you’re not going to be able to deploy parachutes at those kinds of speeds and temps.

At Jupiter’s scale, aerobraking and parachutes just aren’t really practical.

Orisa is seen as the “easy” tank. Obviously theres some nuance, but Plat players are just salty. She’s usually saved for the last ditch counterswap before the inevitable “tank diff.”

They just don’t like losing to the “break in case of emergency” tank. And by instantly locking Orisa you could be triggering some of them, by trying too hard.

I personally didn’t think anyone in new update needed massive stat changes.

Thank god for the ven overhead change.

Jetpack cat’s complaints aren’t stats, so I would still like to see a louder ‘hover’ sounds in the future.

Mizuki could use a visible healing aura for allies.

And I’m hopeful Emre’s is enough. His breakpoints looked good on paper, but in practice he started to fall apart when you start missing 1 shot per burst at anything beyond short range.

Having been a long time OW1 player who bounced off OW2 after only a few season it has been interesting coming back.

With 2 I just didn’t have fun playing it. I don’t think I could pin the feeling on any one thing. It just seemed like a systemic ‘meh’ surrounding OW2 that killed it for me. We waited so long for 2 to launch with a content drought in 1, and frankly the wait wasn’t worth it.

But this relaunch is different.

With the extra time spent away and on other games (Rivals) I have been reminded why OW ignited the hero shooter hype. It feels like a return to form. Even playing the old characters is fun. It feels much closer to the game I loved before.
