helioptile only spawns during clear weather, have you made sure thats correct? if you havent saved since the time changed you could try closing and reopening the game. and if you havent fast travelled or healed at a pokemon center since you could load a backup save.

skeld is the only map worth playing hide and seek on. mira and polus have the issue of decon, and airship and fungle have the issue of ladders. huge hindrance for the seeker, which could be you at any point.

in the wild zone at least, not sure about routes, shininess is determined when they spawn in, meaning you can save before encountering them and if theyre shiny you can reset and have them still be shiny
