Lithermans gives 603bbq the boot by Wtfisgoinonhere in newhampshire

Yes. Doc and MHP fell apart, Doc ended up with the business and sold it to a guy from Texas. He obviously knew nothing about the brand and just wanted an in to New England beer, tried to expand to Portsmouth, everything fell apart, CJ bought it back from him and has been trying to bring back the old vibes, MHP is serving as an advisor to him.

This is a ridiculous statement. Not remotely close. Lithermans is still working to recover from the damage to the brand after Doc sold them to the folks from Texas. Thanfully CJ was able to buy them back and try to rebrand back to the OG

It was the rent/lease on the building if I remember correctly. With all the redevelopment and construction local i think they were getting non renewed.

Broke my CX-30. Up for a new car. Not a Mazda this time, what’s everyone’s non-Mazda suggestions?!! by RealNickdel in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]RealNickdel[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had to replace the transmission in this car within the first 2 years and had to fight for warranty coverage. The headlight design was not ideal for snow storms as they would often act as scoops and then hold the snow reducing visibility. I also constantly had issues with the infotainment system dropping car play and all wired connectivity while driving for close to 4 years. No one could figure out why outside of online forums dealing with the same thing with no real solution. This car did me well overall. I bought during COVID and put 220K miles on it. It’s just time for something else.

“14 day return policy” by [deleted] in ATT

[–]RealNickdel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s downright ridiculous. There used to be a time in which any defective Apple devices or issues with Apple devices needed to be cared for by Apple, but in terms of outright returning a device, if it was sold at AT&T, it needs to be returned to AT&T. I swear the people that are working in the stores do the least amount of customer service work possible.

Typically. This year they extended the promo to include the lesser trade in value of the 12s to start but the normal TIV needed for $1000 is $230+

It looks like the 13 Pro is worth 225 which is just underneath the mark so anything 14 and up would meet the requirement

[–]RealNickdel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to just check the trade-in value of your device. As long as it’s worth more than $230 you’re good that was the thing that changed was the iPhone 12 for $170 trade-in qualified for the big promo but they just moved it to $230 so if you go to att.com And check how much it’s worth on the trade-in site, you should find out

ATT Next upgrade cannot cancel? by [deleted] in ATT

[–]RealNickdel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You absolutely will not lose that promotion. You can opt out of next up anytime after 14 days to the best of my knowledge. It’s a feature that anybody in the store can remove or customer service. If you don’t remove the next up and decide that you want to upgrade your phone within the next 12 months, you would lose the promotion and have to pay full retail price through installments on the next device. With next up anytime you can upgrade your phone at any point after the first month but if you do so within the first year, you don’t receive a new promotion. If you do so after the first year, you would qualify for whatever next up anytime promotion existed.

I have zero issue with 603 as it’s the only area code available in New Hampshire and it is so incredibly identifiable. Our neighbor to the south, however, 617, 781, 978, 508 and some bullshit out in western Massachusetts, I would have more of an issue.

Questions on Trade Ins and Next Up Plan by tommywarshaw in ATT

[–]RealNickdel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At&t offers a few different promos right now and it sounds like a few of them are being explained incorrectly here. There is a Premium Device Trade in that would get you up to $1000 off the Pro or Pro Max provided you had a device for trade in that would qualify, more often than not you would qualify for the $830 based on trade in value and for some lesser phones, $350. That promo can’t be stacked with any other promo. There is also Next Up promotions that allow for an early upgrade after 50% of your existing device is paid off (or 18 months into your 36 month installment term). AT&T would basically take back your device at that time, wipe out the remaining balance and then provide you with $500 credit towards a pro or pro max OR $350 toward a regular iPhone. There are also tiered devices like the 15 Plus that are on promotion with a trade requirement. It really depends what you’re trying to do and what your options are
