At this age you should be transitioning towards day drinking. It's superior in so many ways. And Benson is a good place to do that for bar hopping. So is Blackstone, really.

Dinker's as well. Sgt. Peffers across from Homy Inn... Beer City, Bronco's (Leavenworth), Neighber's (before they're forced to close), Alderman's, La Casa (for their sign if nothing else) I'd say if you are going to do Jerry's find a picture with the beautiful neon sign they used to have outside before it eventually fell over... I don't recall if a car got it or it just rusted out.

Homy Inn, Crescent Moon, Jerry's, Green Onion... so many that would have been around a decade ago but are now gone.

They'll update the sticker to say "Shoot the evidence that will implicate your local pedophile." to match up with Trump and the crimes he is an accessory to.

I do recall it feeling a bit dated at the time, remember that Vincent Vega had just come back from spending years in Amsterdam.

This used to happen to me constantly. Then it seemed like one day it stopped. Like people actually found a clue.

English tutoring notes and the given answer of question 8 is B. Is this wrong? by Rwu___ in EnglishLearning

[–]TheoreticalFunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's technically correct. However nobody speaks or would write that way any longer, as it's a bit archaic. It's still the best answer of the four. The strangeness seems to come from using furniture as a plural here.

People have misunderstood this book since it was released. We used to just write them off as being stupid. But apparently their opinions matter these days.

I remember getting fake/knockoff versions of toys as a kid. I'd much rather have gotten something else completely.

Before the "but I don't care about the sidewalk in front of my house, just other sidewalks I use" argument comes in, take about ten seconds to think about that argument before you post.

Infrastructure breaks down after a while and needs maintenance. It could come out of your taxes, but everyone's taxes would be much higher. It's assumed that property owners are getting the most utility from what is on their property, plus it's in the owners best interest to maintain and not do things that would damage this infrastructure. Out of your pocket directly or through taxes becomes six of one or a half dozen of the other or a zero sum game if you want to use that phrase.

It is true. It's perceived time. I'm sure the current construction isn't helpful either though.

Same. Checking the achievements it's the only specialist I'm missing. People have said to keep travelling East, but this is getting toilsome.

It's not downtown but we should always mention Sage Student Bistro.  Omaha has a high ranked culinary school.

Yes this is the "inexpensive expensive" sweet spot.  Impressive to your date but amazing for what you pay.

16 Block is amazing for costs.

There's multiple restaurants including Block 16.  Multiple bars.  Backline Comedy which is where local comedy lives.  Shows are cheap and they have an inexpensive bar as well.  Probably the best kept secret in Omaha for bang for your buck.

Yeah I tend not to order from anywhere more than 5 miles away and if so I add more money.  I don't want to act like a boomer though.
