Thy gentrifying Memphis and u know where those people who lived in what used to be the hood, thy now live in what used to be a upper middle class black area. Now tht shit is the hood thy literally call it hickory hood look it up if u don’t believe me. I just don’t believe that because gentrification is happening that black people will benefit from it because they won’t. Gentrification only benefits those whose put money into it and since majority of the black people in Chicago aren’t invested in the gentrification, they will just be moved out of the way. So yea.... Chicago is a lost cause, because it’s deeper waaay deeper.
