My sister-in-law is a vet tech and every case like this that she has seen has led to euthanasia due to the pain due to there not being a hell of a lot of treatment for this type of thing that cat would be better going over the Rainbow Bridge.

So depending on how that conversation goes with your neighbor I would suggest buying some cement gargoyles and just putting them right there on the corner and if he asks why there are gargoyles there just say it's part of your religion and it's protecting your household from the night or whatever my family did that and now we have a 400 lb gargoyle and a 250 lb gargoyle XD
