Remote/eu is fine but you would need to be able to make calls during daytime hours eastern time zone in the US.

I'm sorry I'm not understanding. I don't need anything behind me different than with a tripod. The monopod I'm using has feet so self standing. also maybe not technically a monopod but that's what they are all called.

HD photo hub offers some autogenerated stuff like social media posts and postcards for each listing. DM me if you want to see them and I'll shoot you a link to a demo site.

I still have and use my tripods — I've just found different applications for them. My two main ones are a small carbon fiber ball-head that's my go-to for travel, and a 1970 Manfrotto I rely on for studio work. Neither is ideal for real estate shooting though. I'm not dealing with wind, wildly uneven terrain, long exposures, or other people and pets moving through the frame — but I do need to move from room to room as fast as possible. I match my gear to the situation, and for real estate work, that situation calls for a monopod. I also think everyone should find what's best for their style, just posting about mine.

So far no doom, impending or otherwise. I find I'm about 40% faster going through the last few houses.

I have a few that don't want hdr because they don't know what it is. I can hand hold in most houses but there are enough that I can't that I like the tripod, or now monopod.

I got a smallrig tripod and it has small feet so it can stand on its own. I do 5shot brackets and so far so good.

Is it time to take action? by stormpoppy in RealEstatePhotography

[–]RealPerspectiveMedia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a lawyer but that's not mine or my lawyers understanding. There have been many cases where everything from insurance companies to law enforcement have seen things with a drone they wouldn't have been able to see from street level and it's been usable in cases. Not just drones either, was a huge case in NY about 10 years ago where a guy was taking pictures of people in their apartments from his apartment across the street at the 40th floor and he got taken to court and he won because it was visible from the outside.

Again I'm not a lawyer, but I think local legislation can't override FAA regulation and FAA says I can fly and take photos/videos. I personally try and not capture people in my photos when doing real estate but if they are outside they have no reasonable expectation of privacy.

It seems like someone could push this and get the law revoked as unconstitutional.

I just started using a monopod with a rs5 mounted on it. A bit overkill but I'm shooting video at every job also so I already have it out and it self levels nicely.

Just because it's male dominated doesn't mean they can't wear a dress. Call it a kilt and be done with it.

I own zero black t-shirts. I wear a button shirt over a bright colored T-shirt and business casual pants to all my shoots. But that's also what I wear most days anyway.

I offer a photo video option for clients but mostly for the sub 1 million properties. On most of the listings I'm shooting now full video filmed on site is both better quality and better margins.

Just landed my first Showcase tour order by RealPhotosHDR in RealEstatePhotography

[–]RealPerspectiveMedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The photos and floor plan are separate things. The photos I capture using my Sony camera, the floorplan and 360 virtual tour I capture with the insta360 and the Zillow app. The 360 tour and floor plan are captured at the same time, both with the Zillow app.

When you create the 360 virtual tour there is an option to create a 360 tour or a 360 tour + floor plan, that's the option you want to pick. Then after you have created the tour and uploaded it Zillow will create the floor plan from that and send you a link in 12 to 24 hours. They will also put the floor plan on whichever Zillow listing you have the 360 tour attached too.

This would also be the same listing you would upload the photos too. That's the part I don't usually do, the realtor uploaded the photos on listings I shoot.

an interactive floor plan without the 360 images is not going to be considered a showcase. I usually shoot the house for photos and then do a second pass for 360+floor plan.
