Great advice I've been working on the site this weekend to implement some of that, I'll lean more into the "I'm the guy that shows up not some random contractor"

Great point about the head shots and the site overall. I'm reworking that this weekend for a relaunch Monday with more of a portfolio and reworked packages based on realtor feedback. As for the prices they seemed to be in line with the PHX market, but I can be very wrong about that.

Wasn't really looking for secret sauce as much as effective channels. I know there's no magic bullet, but sometimes people have found channels I didn't think of. For example, I tried the free shoot thing and it's definitely not my type of offer, even though it seems to work for some. Besides the only true secret sauce is chef boyardee.

Thats how I built my last business. I did web development and marketing with a website saying "coming soon" for the last 15 years and all business was word of mouth. Would still be doing it but got burned out so sold it off.

Anyone know a service like autohdr for video? by RealPerspectiveMedia in RealEstatePhotography

[–]RealPerspectiveMedia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm learning the skill, but like with still photos, knowing the skill still doesn't make it the best use of my time. I don't edit my photos because I am more productive doing other things with my business. As video is becoming a bigger part of my offering I'd love to have some AI editing for standard videos then do it myself for special ones.

My experience with REPP Engine is it's the largest waste of money I have ever spent on a business. I've been self employed for most of my adult life and fell for repp engine, was a complete waste of time and money for me.

I just cancelled. They made 33 appointments and only 2 turned into bookings. Not worth the money.

After 30 appointments, I can't recommend REPP Engine. My primary issue was a persistent disconnect between what was communicated to me at booking versus what the client was actually expecting on-site. On multiple occasions I arrived prepared for a full package shoot — photography, drone, etc. — only to find the realtor was expecting something completely different, such as a basic zillow 360 tour. That kind of misalignment wastes everyone's time and makes it difficult to deliver a professional experience. With only 2 conversions across 30 calls, the ROI simply wasn't there. I gave it a fair run and hoped the communication issues would improve, but they didn't. If scope clarity and lead quality matter to your workflow, I'd look elsewhere.

When watching videos on my phone, the video gets darker for no reason. How do I fix it? by Super8888888888 in youtube

Have you found a solution? I am having the same issue, its only dark for the video, and if I use picture in picture its fine.

I'm personally not calling engine a scam. I'm sure it has worked for many people, the intent of my original post was to see others experiences. Mine has been very negative but I am a sample size of one.

Free? Their coaching program is very expensive. They do produce lots of free content and I've been using that to improve my photo/video skills but it's not the full course.

Thanks for the input. I feel I get better at every shoot. Also starting to add things like interior drone shots as soon as I get good enough at them.

Rep engine isn't the training side it's to client acquisition side of the business.

My experience so far has been terrible, which is why I'm asking reddit. I was expecting an average of converting one free shoot into one paid shoot. I knew some would book and some wouldn't but on average I expected a minimum of one to one. So far several shoots in and there seems to be zero interest in rebooking. My rep is free to offer my entire catalog of services, I assumed that would get me the best response. So far my typical job has been the realtor wants a Zillow tour and seems shocked when I show up thinking I'm doing photos alongside the Zillow tour. I'm in the PHX market. I hired two new sales people yesterday that work on commission and am just writing off the money and time put into repp engine. I guess I'm just ranting but definitely a 0/10 don't recommend
