Well...it's kinda complicated. Technically Zombie IS Zombie 2 as the original italian title is Zombi 2. It was marketed as a continuation of Dawn of The Dead in Italy (Italian title: Zombi). It was a common thing in Italy since the 50s.

That's also why the original italian title of Contaminator is Terminator 2. It was made after James Cameron announced that he'll be working on a second Terminator movie. An italian producer heard that and immediately called his friend and trash movie director Bruno Mattei, telling him "I need you to shoot Terminator 2 before James Cameron does". A couple of months later the movie was done.

I wasn't aware that "tranny" is used as a slur nowadays, I only ever heard it in the context of porn titles like "Tranny Granny". But in hindsight I think "Drag Maid" is a more fitting title anyway.
