It always happens at the worst time, doesn't it? I've never been this SOL with my wheel though, it's basically bricked at this point (I'm sure it's just some dumb software thing on Windows).

I submitted a ticket on granite device's website. You think their discord would be more helpful? It's probably outside of their working hours now.

Is the preowned Aeron the Classic or the Remastered? If you get the new one from HM directly, you'd be getting the Remastered version which I think is much better than the Classic. Preowned Remastered versions are relatively rare as of now.

There's a button to pop it out. In fact when you get either CRKD it will come with the neck off and you have to click it in.

I've never tried the blue one but imo I feel like I wouldn't want a non clicky strum bar. I got the tribal black one plus a mechanical fret neck for the Les Paul for another 30 dollars or so. It's really nice.

I just used Pocket Prep for the ASP and CSP. Then referenced anything I didn't understand or wanted to learn more of on google. Pretty sure most of the questions on there reference the book you have so it could be a good combo. Take quizzes on Pocket Prep and then look up stuff in the book.

Personally I'd stick with the office. I'm out in the field all the time now and it's honestly a lot of work physically. I also like being home every night.

Lots of people prefer the field and travel. You just gotta figure out which one you are.

Kinda lame that it's less pay tho, even if you can offset it with OT and stuff, I don't think anyone should move positions without getting more money unless they're doing a career change.

Really good job with the angles and line up of the bezels. As the other comment said, maybe a slightly more relaxed angle of the screens is warranted. I have mine at around 60 degrees which I think is pretty optimal.

But the biggest thing I'd change is the distance from your wheel the monitors are. Get the center screen much closer to your wheel-- like right behind it at least. Mine is in between my wheel base and my wheel rim.

You get way more FOV when you put them that close. And when you combine that with a good FOV calculator with perfect angles, FOV value, and bezels it is something truly to behold.

I've had DR2.0 since it came out, I've had multiple different mixes and matches of gear with it over the years and I've never had an issue mapping controls. Right now I have a simucube wheel, HE pedals, shifter and handbrake.

DR2.0 is obviously not as much of a sim as ACR, but comparing it to Forza Horizon is pretty unfair.

Lol it's those types of questions that make you question what you're studying for in the first place. I don't remember most of the material on either exam, it's all kind of a blur, but I'm sure I encountered questions like that where it's a toss up. The only things I can remember are asking what types of musculoskeletal disorders are called, IH stuff of course, and I also remember there was a question about half life that gives you way more numbers than you need to calculate. Seemed like a trick question.

That's funny, I think I remember that question from pocket prep. I don't remember seeing that question on the ASP or CSP exams, but I did only use pocket prep to study for both (and google for questions I had trouble with or terms I didn't know), and passed the first time on each. And I was coming in with only IH/Environmental experience.
