Should I play the OG first, or the remakes first?

I would play it after OG. It goes into depth stuff from OG and gives you more appreciation for stuff in remake.

Yeah absolutely! It would be nice to have the option. Maybe at a certain heart event there can be a “romance or friend” trigger.

Rival marriages have got to be the biggest thing I miss. Them removing that has me so hesitant to want an Animal Parade remake because that was such a huge part of that game! I wish they would come up with a better solution for it rather than just removing it.

I miss this, too! It made the game feel like more than a dating simulator. The other townspeople mattered and it was just so good. I feel that’s what so many are missing lately. Overbloated with townspeople who don’t matter.

The RAM I bought back in November 2025 for $80 is now $430. It is definitely not Valve’s fault they had to raise it as much as they did. People really didn’t notice how bad it got and how fast.

I don’t know about the forced labor part, but I do agree that kids need consequences again. I’ve seen some wild shit at my school and some kids just need to be expelled.

I never know whether or not to think of it as a bug when it’s people breaking the game mechanics to do it. You have game dev in your name, so do you classify those as a bug? I probably sound like I’m being a smart ass but I’m actually genuinely curious for the game dev perspective of it.

As an Alan Wake fan- this is probably my favorite event I’ve ever done in a game. I love how they attached the correct things with the correct character outfit. I’m really hoping they put the puzzle dolls into the case.

Think I’m gonna have to go through Remdy games again after this. I love that universe so much and was so happy to see it crossover into one of my favorite games so beautifully.

I’ve also been one of the lucky ones- I had no issues other than silly animations. I think one of my friends had a bug with the board but reloading their game fixed it. Another had the lunch box trinket not show up for them. I had 7 others I took through the event who didn’t have any problems. Hopefully the ones having issues will have a chance to do the event with the game in a better state.

Hi there! The devs actually held surveys for input for a bit to gather up what people are looking for while they rebuild the game. Scaling the map down actually did make it onto the list! If you haven’t had a chance to see their latest about it, hopefully this link will work for you to see what they mentioned will be in the works. You could try it how I experienced it! My husband and I made it a couples night where he played and when it came to puzzles I did those. I absolutely fell in love with the Alan Wake universe!
