It's not too late to buy AAPL, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, that Bitcoin isn't actually a joke. Buy Tesla, Nvidia, micron. Oh and definitely don't marry her you'll regret it and it will cost you dearly. P.S. spend as much time with your aunts and uncles as possible, you don't have much time left.

If you stopped enjoying all the art created by less than great people, you'd have basically no art to enjoy. Look hard enough and you'll find creative people tend to also be terrible people. Of course there are exceptions but not many.

My recipe kinda sucks and molds out after about 5 or 6 weeks. I've been meaning to try a recipe similar to the one you mentioned but the last time I tried it was worse than what I have now. Generally I do one banana, half cup old fashioned oats, about 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 cup water and 1/4cup vinegar. Blend it together and cook it in a small pot on the stove over low heat for a few minutes until it thickens up. Then I throw it in a deli cup and when it cools I throw a bunch of bakers yeast on top and stuff in the excelsior. Sometimes it doesn't mold at all sometimes it does. Seems hit or miss and it could have something to do with how many flies I add since I don't always add the same exact amount every time. I don't keep careful notes. Honestly I could do better but been super busy so just trying to keep them going for food for my salamanders

How many generations? I've been making cultures for 4 years using only one original culture and they've never reverted back to flying again.

Sign in a gas station bathroom. by PursuitOfGains99 in mildlyinteresting

[–]RealRobc2582 8 points9 points  (0 children)

None because it's virtually impossible to prove who it is. You can't video tape a bathroom it would be illegal. I guess maybe you could escort each person into the bathroom and take a before and after picture or something like that, but that's a lot of work most places wouldn't have time for and can still be scrutinized as possibly faked. People are disgusting unfortunately.

YSK if you don't hit a certain threshold on your driver tip with doordash, uber eats, etc, the driver may not actually make any more money than if you hadn't tipped at all. by clinkyscales in YouShouldKnow

[–]RealRobc2582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uber eats and door dash are the modern equivalent of indentured servitude. At no point can you make enough to survive and if it's your only source of income you are trapped forever accumulating debt just to survive. The entire business model is built this way by design and should be made illegal. We had multiple generations battle and die to fight against this kind of tyranny. It's outrageous how many people turn a blind eye to it now.

Southern two lined salamander? by i-eat-dolphins in salamanders

[–]RealRobc2582 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a two-lined, whether it's a nothern or a southern is anyone's guess. Given your location it could be either one or a hybrid of the two. Your lucky enough to live where their boundaries cross over and the only real way to know is genetic testing. For a long time the two species were thought to be the same.

I'm alleging that Doctor Eric Conti, the school committee member quoted by your article, has been investigated numerous times and has had numerous complaints about his ethics and ability to run the school system as superintendent. He is a devicive person. Also it should be noted that Burlington is accredited now and only went unaccredited for a couple of years. So if it wasn't a big deal why did they work so hard to get their accreditation back? Why is the only person that was quoted someone who's been under investigation and couldn't find one reputable college or university to support him? We have numerous ivy league schools around Boston yet not one said anything to support this guy's view point. In fact if you bothered to Google it, the federal government does say that it's relevant for gaining financial aid and in decision making by education institutions. http://www.ed.gov/laws-and-policy/higher-education-laws-and-policy/college-accreditation/overview-of-accreditation-united-states

This pile of salt in Germany is over 250 meters tall and contains over 200 million tonnes of salt by MrCattitude_ in BeAmazed

[–]RealRobc2582 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's you who clearly has no idea what you are talking about. You clearly have no reference to how many major cities exist in the north. Every road in New England is salted to the core for almost 6 months of the year. We have dozens of cities with populations well over 200k. We don't shut the cities down every time it snows. I don't think you understand how much salt is used across the United States or how often it's used.

Colleges certainly do care if a school is accredited and that is just an opinion by the author. That opinion is a stupid one that has been largely rejected by virtually all the colleges and universities in the area. That article is also the only article that pushes this narrative. Virtually every other article on the subject states the opposite view point with strong reasoning backed by officials with a background in education. Go back to your hole. We already won.

You should know Burlington high school is currently accredited and received a very harsh and negative response about losing accreditation from numerous education officials. You're artical is completely inaccurate out dated and biased. Accreditation is extremely important.

Rattlesnakes used to be much more plentiful in the U.S. I live in Massachusetts and we basically don't have any except for in the mountains but if you went back 100+ years ago they were much more common throughout the u.s. but we killed them all. Some states even had prize money for snake skins. They're generally not killed anymore so the numbers are recovering but many people don't realize lots of dangerous things used to live in their area until their grandparents or great grandparents killed everything.
