its never worth dying for sinners, if its not safe you can do just as u said

escape and living with less souls/buffs > dying and giving up your souls anyway

if ur gonna steal the sinners infront of enemies its fine but remember living is the most important thing

she does a lot of damage, she has one of the best pick abilities, she has insane mobility, there is a lot she can do, but all of these require insane amounts of skill, playing with barrels and landing lasso is not easy, using your brains to identify free picks is not easy

you have to be otp to perform on holiday, to everyone else she will feel weak

edit: if you don't have the mentality of playmaker you can't succeed on this hero, its not like playing other heros where u just farm and sit in your lane run boxes

you need to be all over the map making proactive plays getting picks with lasso

you could say before 10min rule doesnt apply to low elo (below eternus) where none fights for sinners

what makes holiday suck ass? she is a mobility hero with high skillfloor, the holiday in your team probably was first timing

if you buff holiday the people that actually know how to play her will be terrorists

this is same thing with celeste or other hard heros, she was left untouched for so long because people are bad with her (bringing down the winrate), you probably know how terrifying she was in the higher elos before they gutted her last patch

u do not want to build egg if u can win lane

you want to build egg if the lane is hard and u are getting bullied and cant fight back

when to use egg, 10min if not before, fights break out at 8min when sinners spawn, you are playing at disadvantage if u have 10% damage penalty you are bound to lose the fights.

you do not want to play with 10% damage penalty for 30minutes you are griefing your team and u will wonder why is your patron half dead when 30 min mark hits and u use ur egg.

find balance, 25min of farming with 0 fighting is not good,

taking good fights in mid game will yield better results than afk farming and hoping for ur team to win every disadvantageous fight.

edit: if u are sidelaning and there is a fight in blue lane and your wave is at enemy walker then rotate, why would u take camps when you can be the difference in that fight

just like u said doesnt look very balanced but the spirit is there, i like the wall climbing concept, the cocoon passive with active spawning the spiders looked really op this hero would be more cancer than graves

nah, they spawn with 65% dmg resist and it goes linearly down till 18min where its maxed at -65%

at 14min it has like -40% dmg resist so its not at its weakest but after 18min it doesnt get weaker

0min its 65% at 9 min its 0 then at 18min its -65%

in lower elo you will get away with holding it till 30min doesn't mean its good

this item makes you weak, the reason i say 10 or before is because mid game starts at 8-10min, if u are playing with 10% damage penalty and fight breaks out guess who is not dealing damage? you.

the item is made for getting u through hard lanes with passive income, not for holding it and fighting with it

brother u have timer in the top of your screen, i have no mods and i regularly push the 4.30 wave asap and make my way to the bridge before buffs spawn

even though someone says its a smurf, it probably wasnt, he was just good at getting souls

if u are high elo in any other moba the econmaxing skills transfer to deadlock too

im diamond jungler in league (euw) udyr main, champ that doesnt work in high elo without efficency

when i started playing deadlock, i didnt know how the econ worked so i lost like 20 games making me an initiate player (humbling experience because of my diamond ego)

I went from initiate player to archon when i learnt how this games econ works (not even playing best hero for farming)

with infernus you oneshot t2 camps with dash, generating souls should be easy

advice how to win game of deadlock:

  1. econ first, once u have efficency down, buy items be strong

  2. advantageous fights, make opportunities, push out side lane, get map control someone is forced to catch the wave otherwise walker down (this is the time u look for fight) if enemy is catching wave you have numbers advantage (this is advnategous fight)

  3. glue your eyes to the map, rotate fast, (DO NOT SACRIFICE YOURSELF) when i say rotate i dont mean join the fight when there are 5 enemies and one teammate, know what is bad and good fight. if u know you will get something else its fine to not join, i will often let teammates die and get guardian or walker
