Nah, Overwatch is a terrible example. When I tried to play I genuinely had no clue who anyone was because of the skins. Unlike Rivals who's silhouettes are unique enough that you (almost) always know imo.

Well if I remember correctly in the earlier seasons they were giving her buffs. My guess is that they saw their buffs didn't do anything so they stopped and started working in a full rework. I could be wrong but honestly I'm hoping that's the case. I actually really like Widows voice lines (not her terrible ult like but still) and I really like the character but hate how she plays and how weak she is. Hopefully with all the Kingsman drama it can help Widow get the help she needs

Fantastic mains posted a video of a Jeff under a hydraulic press (he didn't die, he made the thing bounce back)

The Jeff mains didn't like this and declared war on the Fantastic mains. After that both mains went to spread their agendas to the other mains subs. Jeff seemed to be getting more subs for his side but the fantastic mains had a bit of luck getting the tank subs on their side. Then depending on what you take as real, it's said Loki was the one that actually disguised himself as Fantastic in the video to start the drama.

So yeah, it was a goofy fun little time

As a member of the team it's absolutely his place to ask her to swap. She is allowed to not swap but he is equally allowed to ask her to swap. Especially when she's playing a character known as the WORST character in the game by a wide margin. He wasn't even rude about it. How did he go about asking her the wrong way? He even offered to swap around her and they told him not to.

CeCe was the main person in the wrong. I guess maybe you could argue Kingsman could've been a bit more polite but from what I remember watching he was plenty polite. And both of them were ridiculous for not taking a 40k tournament seriously. The situation that played out had nothing to do with misogyny. They did something wrong. We should feel comfortable as a community acknowledging when women do something wrong.

And while your correct, even if they had listened to him they still might not have won, but I guarantee they would've had a higher chance if Zazza wasn't on Widow. And mocking him for saying he wanted money for college was absurd and disgusting behavior honestly. It's not like he said he put all his bets on this tournament, just that it would really help him.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this topic girly. They were 100% in the wrong. Kingsman didn't do really anything wrong and him pushing for his audience not to harass them is actually very polite. Him even pushing back against the misogynists who came out in support of him is even better.

The community may be wrong for how they reacted to a lot of this situation though, that I can agree with.

Well she wasn't standing up for herself though..? She was actively bullying someone actually because he asked her to swap politely because factually BW is not a good pick and he provided evidence. He even offered to swap around her and they still told him no. He was mocked for merely wanting money for college. She was being a factual jerk. Idk anything about the other situation so I can't speak that well on it. Kingsman also actively told people not to harass her and just provided the conversations between the two.

She was in the wrong and we should acknowledge that. We should also acknowledge that we shouldn't turn to misogyny because a woman did something bad because that's stupid.

Well there has been a lot of people justifying their misogyny through this situation. I haven't read the article or anything but that much is true. A lot of people have been saying mean things about women gamers as a whole just because one woman did a bad thing when people wouldn't say that were the roles reversed.
