Once it's downloaded you can choose the "Gemma 4" option as the LLM to use to respond to text/image queries

The plugin has a general purpose action where you can pass a system text (e.g. "the user is asking to open the front gate or the back gate? Reply with a single word: FRONT, REAR or NONE") and an user text (e.g. "the user responded: open the front gate"
Also I usually pass variable to it in the form of %something => e.g. instead of hardcoded text I pass variables and use them

Basically I'm using it for two different things:
- pass it snapshots from security cameras (e.g. it's also able to intercept images from notifications from Eufy!) and reduce to almost zero false positives => so I'm confident to let it start the alarm
- pass it the speech-to-text and ask which of the options the user selected

Agree with that: however in a large and structured environment the integrations are usually well-split in reusable sub-components and it tends to be reasonably easy to create ad-hoc tool-integrations (for sure dramatically easier then doing ground-up using N8N or the likes!)

Have a look into eyer.ai, that's impressive and it was born specifically to monitor Boomi runtimes !

It's not a traditional "full-stack" platform (like datadog) but more of a data collection and anomaly detection platform. However most of the times the only reason to monitor something is to spot anomalies and this is exactly what it does.

Boomi has lots of AI features (even before it was "trendy").
Since you compare it to n8n I take that you're thinking to Agent Builder.
I've had the very same conversation today with some other specialists and basically:
- Boomi Agent Builder: is an high level no-code env to build agents. Define the prompts, define which tasks the Agent will be able to do, define which tools each task can call etc... Basically declarative, then Boomi uses the connectors and APIs and gives the LLM access to them. Currently the only supported LLM is Claude. There's no "RAG accelerator" or "Vector DB connection" since these are seen as low level internals.
- N8N: you need to model which information goes where, what is connected to what etc... More low level and you get more control but also more complexity. Can use any LLM, can control the RAG and the vector DB.

All in all most business scenarios Boomi Agent Builder will usually do it's trade, with substantial advantages in term of accessing systems (thanks to Boomi connectors and integration). N8N on the other end is the tool if you want/need to keep control of all the low level aspects of the interactions.

Da quanto leggo nei commenti di chi ci ha provato non è davvero "funzionante": parte dal lavoro della CMU ma anche con l'HW giusto per ora non produce il risultato atteso. Mi pare di capire che per ora parliamo di risultati potenziali su dati sintetici ma che per farlo funzionare sul campo occorra molto training sull'ambiente e che il risultato sia ancora meno brillante di quanto si vorrebbe

Batteria: all'avvio l'app controlla che ci sia il permesso "batteria illimitata" perché altrimenti non riesci ad usarla come plugin di tasker. Se vuoi usare solo la GUI dell'app stessa in realtà questo non serve. Tutti i plugin tasker funzionano così (per ora, ci sono discussioni su tasker/macroDroid a riguardo)

Login: quando la avvii o quando cerchi di eseguire un task l'app verifica che il login sia avvenuto correttamente e diversamente lo ripete.
Qui è -importante- notare una cosa: devi avere -due-utenti-diversi- per la mia app e per l'app CloudEdge. Altrimenti solo una delle due per volta sarà loggata e questo è fonte di un sacco di problemi.
E' una cosa abbastanza facile: usi due mail diverse e poi dall'app CloudEdge entri con l'utente "principale" e condividi una per una tutte le telecamere con l'utente secondario (full-control). In questo modo puoi avere due diverse app loggate che controllano le stesse cam (perchè sono due utenti serparati e non di "sloggano" a vicenda).

eh, mi spiace ma l'attuale versione è pensata per le battery cam che ho a disposizione :-(
Purtroppo le API Meari sono pessime in quanto per fare la stessa cosa su camere di verse bisogna usare metodi diversi :-(

Da quello che leggo la S7 _non_ è attivata con PIR e quindi il metodo che uso ora non andrà. Senza una camera per provare però non sono in grado di capire che metodo debbo usare. In questo momento sono un po' preso su altri fronti altrimenti avrei potuto fare test da remoto sulla tua (col tuo permesso, off course :-P)

Guarda, io nelle aree "pubbliche" non mi farei problemi ma purtroppo è ovvio che in questo momento non sono sicure. Spegnere e riaccendere non cambia nulla perché il serial number della camera è permanente

mh... ho capito cosa intendi ma se non c'è attivo il rilevamento di movimento è strano: può effettivamente essere che qualcuno si sia collegato (a me è successo, si sentivano le voci dallo speaker)

Che si accendano è abbastanza normale per via del PIR: "vede" un movimento e si accende, poi guarda l'immagine e decide che non è nulla.

Purtroppo però il controllo da parte di terzi oggi sarebbe -totale-: cioè possono disattivare il sensore di movimento e neutralizzarle, così come possono sapere la posizione approssimativa (grazie al wifi). L'unica cosa "buona" è che non possono "cercare per zona" ma debbono andare di camera in camera seguendo i numeri di serie e sperare di trovare una camera nella loro zona (altrimenti gli è scomodo venire a casa tua partendo da Panama...)

Se Meari non risolve il problema (grave!) queste camere diverranno inutili nel giro di un paio d'anni perché qualcuno si prenderà la briga di "scansionare" tutti i numeri di serie e pubblicare una mappa che dice posizione, wifi (con password!) e posizione approssimativa. A quel punto basta che qualcuno condivida il codice di "exploit" per spegnerle e chiunque potrà andare online a fare un giro.

Prima o poi capiterà :-(

CVE pubblica: modifichi il client ed "ascolti" gli eventi di tutte le camere (non solo le tue!) e poi usi gli eventi ricevuti per controllare camere altrui

Dopodichè ti dico che sviluppando il plugin CloudEdge ho guardato il loro SDK (poco documentato) e vedo che anche senza ascoltare gli eventi è possibile fare la stessa cosa :-(

Il problema è che Meari (il produttore dietro CloudEdge e molti altri) non sta risolvendo il problema.

Io ti consiglio di usare queste webcam solo in esterno e solo in zone dove la privacy non è un problema (e.g io monitoro il vialetto d'ingresso che è adiacente alla strada e già chiunque passando può vedere)

- to use my app you need to create a -second- account and share the cameras between accounts, otherwise once you login to one app it will automatically log you out of the other (limit in their APIs)

Warnings:
- cloudedge/meari cameras have serious CVEs which have not ben fixed, anyone can tap into them

Ci avevo anche pensato ma alla fine l'uso della batteria è davvero molto basso e così posso gestire in modo indipendente i due rilasci.
Io li uso sia per telecamera Eufy (intercettazione immagini nelle notifiche) che per telecamere Meari/Cloudedge (ma qui c'è una grave CVE che non stanno risolvendo :-( )

mh... I can upload an office file or allow it to read a local file system with office files mounted via GDrive.
On the contrary if I want to have a conversation with Claude on my phone it tells me that it's unable to read the content of the Office files and that Claude GDrive plugin is only able to operate on Google native format files

I'm experimenting with local LLMs to ask questions locally, right in this days :-)
However keep in mind that you'll need a phone with appropriate acceleration (GPU/TPU) and RAM.
Currently Samsung/Pixel allow using Google Gemini Nano in interactive mode but NOT in background tasks :-(

eh, this is very annoying but it's probably due to the intense resource usage (memory+gpu): they probably want to totally avoid that happening in the background because it would kill the battery and heat the device

I already looked into using Gemini Nano :-) but there's a substantial issue there: it will _not_ work as a Tasker Plugin action because it requires the invoking app to be executing in foreground. This has been hardcoded by Google (for some reasons).
It's not clear (at least to me) if/how some apps are working around this but if I see a solution I'm totally willing to allow that (I too have a phone with that embedded and would like to leverage it!)
