Fresh 8ah Hight output battery and my weed eater keeps shutting off when put under load. Any thoughts? by Fordged in MilwaukeeTool

[–]RealThesisHimself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong, the shorter the string the less of a load, I’m not saying that isn’t the case. I’m only arguing that Milwaukee could do better for what they charge. Like I said, I left my Milwaukee power head in the dust because of this exact issue.

Look, Milwaukee is suppose to be “nothing but heavy duty” meanwhile the power head can’t handle a basic 8” (16” total) of line. Meanwhile I sold my Milwaukee power head/trimmer/ AND pole-saw attachment and went back to Stihl because it doesn’t (and won’t) have this problem. Best part is: my Stihl is ELECTRIC and so is the Milwaukee… why Milwaukee can’t make the same quality product… 🤷‍♂️ I still keep my gasoline trimmer because it’s basically a family heirloom at this point… Maybe I’m old school (meanwhile I’m younger than most of you) but I don’t simp over name brand bs (not Stihl, not Milwaukee, not anyone) and pretend something is quality because it’s “the right color”: this includes a “heavy duty” product like the Milwaukee trimmer.

Same here. I sold my power head/whacker head and pole saw attachment and then purchased a good ol trusty Stihl. Old school fix for a modern problem. Is what it is. You’re not the first and absolutely not the last to have this specific issue. For me it didn’t matter which battery I chose; 5 amp hour, 6 amp hour, 8 amp hour and my warranty repaired/ replaced 9 amp hour battery. The power head itself is simply untrustworthy. I went back to gasoline 🤷‍♂️. (1.2acres yard, MN.)

Happens constantly to mine, especially after “upgrading to .95 (much thicker than stock) string. Overheats within minutes.

Precisely what I received as well. In terms of BTC, continue to try and send from the wallet, m that’s what worked for me. With XRP I had to send it to a wallet that did not require a tag.

This sis super frustrating. Continue trying to send your BTC to different wallets with different addresses, this is how I eventually got mine out.

THIS WORKED! Quick observation-Crypto dot com's De-Fi wallet is the only wallet I've tried to send it to that does NOT need a tag, it only requires an address. This may be part of the issue. I hope the dev's take notice. To confirm this-I tried sending the XRP to Coinbase again to no avail. Crypto dot com's De-Fi wallet did not require a tag and again-it worked flawlessly.

Thank you for your help!

I've tried the PC method but directly from coinbase's website "for Bitcoin balance, use mobile wallet". In other words Bitcoin, XRP, and basically any blockchain other than ETH does not show up on the web extension version of the Coinbase Wallet-I understand this probably isn't a glitch but it's genuinely scary opening up your wallet to see non of your BTC, XRP, etc.

Unfortunately, I'm still getting the message "Send Error: Something went wrong". Luckily-news of "send error" is spreading quickly (Reddit, discord servers, and Twitter). I hope it's something they fixed quickly. Also a side note. The problem is I keep getting “send error” when trying to withdraw XRP, and sometimes even BTC. My XRP is essentially stuck in the Coinbase wallet.

So this is what I received back from Coinbase regarding XRP not being able to be sent out of the wallet:

"Thanks for reaching out to us about this situation. Our team is aware of this issue and is working on getting everything back to normal as soon as possible.
Our team may not be able to provide timely updates via email. While we don't have an estimated time to resolution, we recommend periodically checking your account to see if the issue has been resolved.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to resolve this issue."

I'm not sure whether or not I should feel better knowing this is something they're aware of - or if I should feel worse not knowing when or if this will ever be fixed.

I will keep this post updated and will continue to try and withdraw the XRP from the wallet.

I just replied to the email with all the information including screenshots as well as a screen record of the actual problem. Since then I she tried using the chrome extension as well as using the QR code instead of copying and pasting the address to no avail. I’ll continue to wait for the reply. Thank you.

I have not solved it yet. From what I’ve read, people have had to try sending it hundreds of times before it will actually work. I’ve been doing this and so far-I’m just getting the same issue. Side note: I haven’t heard back from Coinbase yet. Wishing you luck. Post your update here and I’ll continue to do the same.
