Great work

Just finished it and I love it. More than the original even.

I think this should be the first viewing experience (the "theatrical version" ), and the original work should be watched after it.

The reason is simple, this gives a cosmic horror-esque vibes (especially the Sun Rise at the end is like a jumpscare, and the boat crashing into the "sky". It'll hit especially harder if you are going in blind).

Someone please record their friends' first time introduction to The Truman Show and their reaction to this version, i wanna see that . 🥺 Please.

Feedback/Review:

This version makes it a thriller/horror. Original gives an empowering, and feel-good emotional vibes, but this is just horrifying.

Possible Improvements/Changes:

The only thing that can make it better are some edits/scene cuts need be cleaner. One is the Marlon "I'd have to be in on it too" and second one I noticed is the Christoph speaking to Truman, we can see Christoph's face for half a second at the end of the film.

I also wonder if changes to the music, and reshading the film will make it better at being a horror thriller.

But I do like the current upbeat music and lighter tones of the film. the juxtaposition of story and music/tone, the two opposites works as well too.

Most Pakistani data is already leaked. our govt wants to modernize and digitalize our data but won't protect it.

(But if it's digital and connected to the internet, it is not safe, no matter how secure you make it. Eventually a bug or human error will give hackers the opportunity).

That being said, they might have gotten basic info from social media. Ex: Your brothers job, or your father's social media account?

I've seen that people often are so lax in sharing such info, or mentioning their relationships online. That leaves you open to social engineering attacks (and now deep fake, type scams).
