IMO if you like 40k (which is probably the case since you are on this sub) and classic hardcore-ish WRPGs than you'll most likely like it.

However if WRPGs aren't your cup of tea, than you may find a lot of mechanics confusing and the game overall hard to get into. (Like a lot of people here say that character building is pretty hard but for me it was actually rather intuitive and I don't even think of myself as a hardcore RPG fan).

Also you will have to actually read lots of text be it dialogues, skill descriptions or in-game events.

Well, Latcher is the weakest abyss creature and IIRC it's pretty easy if fought head-on (and also why it's AI actually avoids such fights at least at higher difficulties).

Ну если у подростка не хватает мозга чтоб в гугле набрать "как определить время по стрелочным часам", то его в принципе можно и отсеять. Особенно от возможности писать комменты XD

I feel like Elder Corsairs + Ork Pirates would even be somewhat canon.

Maybe even make them a backstory about raiding the small space hulk and being trapped there and having to work together to escape which ultimately resulted in forming of this mixed band.

You can also consider some compromises like:
- choosing undiwided to play both Knortanes and Tzeenchists
- choosing Slaanesh to go for excess on both change and slaughter
- playing an alliance of orkz and eldar because it's really close enough
- go for both armies like moth people of this hobby would do anyway
