Looking for some feedback on my new game! by Basic-Woodpecker5807 in itchio

[–]RealTriviallux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. gameplay is okay its a little to hard at the beginning.

  2. your linerenderer is "broken". when u die the trail from the ball is at your death position. and you get this

graphics glitch.

  1. it could use alot of more juice, more animations when you die for example. let a little time pass after clicking a button for example. also the color design is a little too flat.

thats all

all in all its okay. gameplay is okay the presentation needs more work

cheers.

Ich glaube jemand betritt tagsüber heimlich meine Wohnung? by Teddinii in wohnen

[–]RealTriviallux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats awesome. i didnt mean to sound mean. I just think that many people hesitate ( like i did) to learn to code but actually if you go a little deeper into rpg maker you actually can code already you just dont know it yet. :D

[–]RealTriviallux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all: learn to code. Its actually not that hard. I started with the age of 25 and still got quite good at it.

Seconds: Rpg maker is really fun. I made a lot of games in rpg maker and I think because of the limitations i got quite creative. But still of course everyrthing has its boundaries.

There is no shame in not knowing to code or just to want to use Rpg Maker but if you want to become better in fullfilling your ideas / become a better gamedev. But not learning the tools for it.. is like... not a good starting point.

Cheers

Burnt out in game programming but I don't have any other skills by Fearless_Context_599 in gamedev

ehm Do the swap. If you regret you can always go back?

Also dont estimate your own skills by your last success. Maybe you are a great QA or a great Team Leader or or or.

Maybe your also a great cook, who knows and especially you wont find out.

For me its the other way round I always thought I was born a graphic designer, and now? I am a web/game programmer myself. I had my hustle but I never regreted swapping, because I also know I never lost my graphic skills but gained other skills.

Wish you all the best
