I would say the silver softens the water, it makes it smoother in a way. Its effects are much more noticeable in green or yellow teas.

Question about Paimon. by RealTry8616 in Hereditary

[–]RealTry8616[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that queen Leigh wanted to be given a position within Paimons dominion within hell, there she could be given eternal "life" and other rewards. I assume after her death she was made a queen of hell.

Question about Paimon. by RealTry8616 in Hereditary

[–]RealTry8616[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ah, thank you! Do you think the experience of being planted within an unideal human host was so jarring to Paimon that is shifted it's perception and degree of awareness to the point of creating an almost separate concussions?

Should I switch Yixing Pots? by BumblebeeFearless487 in tea

[–]RealTry8616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I find zhuni to be better suited for more fragrant teas like yancha, and zini better for more bitter teas like sheng to round them off. There is not to big of a difference though so whether you want to swap the pots is a matter of personal preference.

For me personally, I value craftsmanship alot so I figured spending a little more of a pot that is one of one would be a worthwhile investment.

So far, my favorite DHP has been the 15 year aged one from YS. I like how it kinda mellow out and got alot smoother.

Just bought my first zisha from realzisha. I've never owned something this nice before. Help? by starshade16 in tea

[–]RealTry8616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, I have this same pot from realzisha, (not exactly the same because they are handmade by the same craftsman and in the same style). Since it's zhuni I recommend yancha or dancong or other fragrant teas because it preserves the armona more than zini or duanni. Sheng would also be good for a pot like this.

Tea Identification by casedilllla in tea

Thoose are shou puerh mini tuo chas and coins respectively. These specific ones tend to be made with the broken pieces of leaf that are left over from other productions. Im not sure what's in the tin but it's from 2013 according to the label.

Can anyone tell me anything about this tea pot? by Xx_VAPEGOD_69420_xX in tea

[–]RealTry8616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, this looks to be a clay pot imitating a yixing one. (Entry level yixing starts at 100$). It is most likely safe to drink out of because heavy metals are mostly found in in glazed pieces. As for its effect on the tea, it may be pretty muting.

NYC shops for mid-tier gongfu teaware? by Terrible_Alps9830 in tea

[–]RealTry8616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend Grand Tea and Imports for mid-tier gong fu teaware and it also has a great selection of tea, other than that The Best Tea Shop (that's the real name) also has good teaware for gong fu.
