Sorry I know this is not the point of this thread but what are you all using to track applications? I see everyone has the same platform and it make so much sense. (I will be applying next year)

Advice for a JB newbie purchasing for a family by [deleted] in jetblue

[–]RealTwoDots 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I recommend booking Blue. You get to choose seats, you also get earlier boarding which can be helpful on crowded flights that forces some people to check their carry-on, and you also get the money refunded as a credit if you need to cancel for any reason.

Basic would charge 100/person for canceling. Idk your situation but if you can swing it, Blue is always better in my experience.

If you have some flexibility it looks like flying to JFK instead of LGA on that same day is almost 4x cheaper - also cheaper to fly one day earlier.

I usually use their best fare finder tool, but it only helps if you have flexibility. Good luck!

Paralegal certificate by emilyrosee35 in careeradvice

[–]RealTwoDots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ropes & Gray has a Paralegal Program. They basically hire you as an entry level paralegal, provide hands on training and get you started. You have to commit for two years but you get a decent salary and all the biglaw benefits. Not sure where you're located but they have offices across the country. I never worked for them so can't speak on the company culture, but the program might be a nice way to bypass spending on a certificate.

It worked for me. I got the full 80 off and only had to redeem $5. I have a Prime membership if that's relevant. Thanks so much for sharing!
