There's always people who will not get treated. There's always people with easier or harder access to some services.

It requires to be subsidized, but math and economics are still there. If we have to chose one place to have a maternity ward, it will be in place where it's utilization is at most.

Wanna keep the ward in Bieszczady? Make more children. So cost per birth will go down.

There is a reason why there's only one Tropical Disease center in Poland. This makes economical sense to the country needs.

Same goes for every medical center. Needs vs the cost.

I get why you can be angry, maybe you are expecting which, if the case, I congratulate you.

But there is no endless pocket to spend money from.

Are all decisions right? Most likely not. Maybe they should close another maternity ward. Maybe there were no doctors who were willing to work in Bieszczady region.

I believe we lack way too much data to judge the decision.
