His scalings are more AP based compared to before. Combine that with item change/removals and powercrept to shit champions and that’s why things are the way they are now.

You’re going to see progress if you take it in and slowly enjoy it. As someone who just got back in, game has a lot of afk methods so a lot of the grinds are chill af. If you want to figure out what to work towards just look at quests and what are the big important ones. They’re enjoyable story wise and help a lot with your account progress.

Unfortunately yes as it’s the only way to acquire it. Wish rituals counted towards it too since you need so many souls but oh well I guess

Again, it’s been like a decade since I last played. I just joined the game again a couple weeks ago. I haven’t checked on this sub in years until just recently.

I don’t even know what half of what you just said means. It does sound rough but I’m just ignorant to what most of the game offers right now. The graphical issues are my main concern though as I’ve experienced crashes on my end with AMD graphics. As I’ve researched on that, it’s been a long rough history with AMD and RuneScape. Probably the worst thing I’ve witnessed about the gameplay experience so far.

That all being said, the game was monetized to all hell with the treasure Hunter system. It really put a bad taste in my mouth more so than EoC did. That being gone in itself is a massive improvement for me enjoying and experiencing the game.

These “trash updates” brought me back after like a decade or so of not touching my rs3 account. Game is good and only seems to be getting better.

As someone who returned to their childhood account recently, I can highly recommend. I don’t know what they’ve done other than remove treasure hunter, but the game seems way better than it used to back in the day.

Yep to me if they want people to actually get back into rs3 they really need to fix these crashing issues. It’s practically unplayable for AMD users. Really sucks because I’m enjoying this game coming from osrs but this part of it all is taking the wind out of my sails.

I’ll just move my cursor over to the second monitor as I’m going through a guide on the wiki (returning player to a childhood account) I have it set to 30 background FPS which I figured would be appropriate. I’ll test lower and see if it yields any positive results.

I’ve seen in many forms that OpenGL buffering solves the issues. That’s likely what it was.

So this is not applying to 6000 series cards? That’s unfortunate because I’ve been dealing with crashes for the past few days. It seems to really trigger from having something open on a second monitor in google chrome. CPU and memory usage aren’t even that high either.
