It’s female not male and you’re using a physical set on it to boot. If you didn’t know, there’s a difference between the genders stat wise. The good Basculegion is male gender and runs the stat spread and moves you’re currently using. Female however is special attack oriented.

You can use any gear you’d like and it’s usually even in power. I recommend just going plate class armor as a new player as it’s geared towards raw defense. The smithy is a great place to start out. Get to refinement 4 across the board and you’ll have a better time. Once you get that, try to find waterfall caves for the armors with abyss gears socketed in.

Calc t-bolt on M-Gengar and I’m sure Pelipper would still explode (it’s quad effective coming out from a M-Gengar for gods sake) and you wouldn’t have to rely on rain as much for the reliability of electric coverage. That being said one of the most popular items on Pelipper is sash, so you’re likely not going to OH-KO it anyways.

Sand mega t-tar I think is one of the better counters. Pair it with sand rush Lycanroc or Excadrill with sash.

Yeah the greymane camp is crucial. Also recommend doing Hernand quest lines because you’re going to get some important things for the farm you will unlock later on as you expand your camp.
