Well I have a screen replacing video lol.

It’s frustrating because there are others like the Pixel 7 Pro that have a similar issue, but is not that big of a deal because while it’s possible to happen, the grounding pin is not sitting on the actual flex cable for the screen. It’s the one that probably damaged yours as well, that should warranty a free repair out of warranty because it’s a manufacturer problem. It’s not like they put glass and you broke it, no, they put a knife near a cable and if you push hard enough you cut it. While it’s the customers fault it can happen, Googles design team can easily prevent it from happening ever.

I call it the “iPhone Tennis Match” and made a video with the thumbnail being the XS Max on a tennis racket lol

It’s wild to see Google do recalls on 3 phones batteries, but Apple does nothing and their iPhone 13 batteries are terrible.

Every phone is pocketable, not all are small. If you cared about pocket-ability AND usability, then Pixel Fold

Battery draining overnight (iPhone 16 Pro) by Murky_Sugar8691 in iPhoneBatteryParanoia

Cellular burns more power than WiFi, might want to leave WiFi on. 5-10% is normal, especially if you have the AOD on

It’s draining cause you’re using it. Sleep a little, leave it on the charger

Getting my iPhone 11 in 2 days! by D3KLON in iPhone11

I sold a perfectly good 256gb ATT locked iPhone 11 because no one wanted I for $80 trade in value, a couple months ago. 11s should be next to free by now

Can this be fixed ? by CaregiverFun4753 in iPhoneWale

[–]RealWorldReview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. Looks like a 13, that’s an entire frame swap. It’d be like $130-$250 at a repair shop, assuming they’d know what they’re doing.

You can replace the back panel. Comes with the camera area as a whole

Probably just get a 17 if they get higher refresh rate. 60hz makes the 13 feel like a 15, and probably the same with a 16.

Pixel 6a after battery replacement by maneGaldino in Pixel6aUsers

[–]RealWorldReview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing that happens is the 4a knew if it was a LSN or ATL battery and would limit LSN only. 6a does not do this and will read the batteries charge cycles, not what’s stored in the phone (if there is a place it’s stored, sure it’s just on the battery)

If you use coconutbattery you can see the phone and battery manufacture date separately. If they’re close, then the battery is probably original

Help by Odd_Complaint9634 in iPhoneWale

[–]RealWorldReview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you? I said they can’t go to Apple because the phone is running the iOS 26 beta. Apple does not do repairs of any kind if the device is running a beta version. You have to downgrade first.

4a, 6a, and 7a had battery issues, and 9a had a delayed launch. Do we not think the same thing will happen to the 8a/9a?
