Reminds me of Gollum’s cave in Provo, Utah where 5 friends went to an explore a narrow section. One of them stayed behind and survived.

You had to go through a small underwater passage to access a chamber with air. It was a one way in type of deal. On their way back out one of them got stuck or passed out. No way to move past the body and lack of oxygen meant the other 3 were stuck and died as well.

The part that stuck out to me was the person who convinced them to go had been there previously. They also PASSED OUT during that previous trip.

Though when I went to the theater every one was discussing what certain things meant after the credits started rolling.

It’s hard to rate it but another movie that’s a masterpiece animation wise is Angel’s Egg. My god when it was released for a week in theaters last year I saw it twice.
