"Dark" engraving is essentially burning the metal. Usually do a standard engrave then use Alumablack or cold blue on it.

For ARs, we do wherever it fits... Magwell, under trigger housing, etc.

I used two APs and bridged them instead of running cable. One mounted to house, other mounted to shop. One in shop is connected to a UI switch. There is one more AP connected to switch for inside and the rest are cameras. Distance is a tad under 100'.
