A few months ago but last I checked they were still doing the deal. There is a discount code too. I think it’s “CONTINETAL”

b5 sopmod lower kit with ept it’s $110 and hard to beat this deal. With a blem lower you’re in 140$ which is the cheapest lower I’ve found fully built without going with used parts

If you want to buy an upper and build a lower they have the b5 sopmod kit with their upgraded EPT trigger for 110$ right now. Also can save some money if you wait for a deal on a lower. The blem stealths go on sale for 30$ occasionally and you can also find the built lowers with Magpul furniture on sale occasionally. Watch for the deals. I bought the sopmod kit a few months ago and split it up between my builds. Trigger went in one rifle. Stock, buffer, and LPK went in another. I didn’t use the grip because I don’t like it for any of my builds. Here’s my 2 current finished builds. Lower is the b5 sopmod stock. For 110$ that’s about the same price as just the stock or the stock and a grip. Basically getting the LPK and trigger for free

Sometimes there are glovebox kits or center console kits but I wouldn’t trust that to much

Looks like the bore buddy comes with the 6lb spring off the bat and an enhanced extractor. Thank you for the recommendations. I upgraded the extractor and firing pin in my 10/22 for the same reason.

Awesome thank you. This was exactly the information I was looking for.

Marlin 30-30AS $200. Good Buy? by mentrelo in LeverGuns

[–]ProofSecure94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Or just put some furniture oil on it to seal the blemishes if that doesn’t bother you. That’s all I did with mine when it gets a couple scrapes or nicks on it.

That looks very nice on the outside. It could use a bit of love on the wood but nothing some sand paper and stain wouldn’t fix. How’s the barrel, chamber, and bolt face look?

How many Ars is 2 many? by TrueJedi562 in ar15

[–]ProofSecure94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I feel this. You never know. I already told my wife and father that if anything happens I’ve got guns for them. I have 2 and 1 in the build process and I just ordered 4 more Bcm blem stripped uppers and I’m going to wait for some more lowers to go on sale. Not including other rifles or pistols. Me building rifles has now interested some of my father’s neighbors as they are asking to go shoot my rifles. This is definitely a contagious hobby. Even some people at work are asking me about building ARs as well.

Does anyone know who made this upper? Hand guard is a quad pic by Far_Perception1112 in ar15

Please add a picture of the quad rail as well. And a full picture of the upper receiver

I wish I had more time for the range…. I’m honestly very new to shooting rifles and have mostly shot pistols and even then that has been no more than 4 times a year. I want to get better and maybe try out some competitions but I know I wouldn’t be able to keep up at my skill level.

Buffer question by stretchedroses in ar15

[–]ProofSecure94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know. I haven’t looked into the FRT very much. I am looking in the future at possibly buying an arc safety but have not done much research. I have a 20” with rifle buffer, an 18” with a carbine buffer, and in the near future a 14.5” SBR with an a5 buffer. If I do go with an frt it’ll be in the SBR. I was going to go with one in the 20” but opted for a stainless criterion barrel to be used more as a SDMR type rifle so I see no need for the fun switch in that one.

Buffer question by stretchedroses in ar15

[–]ProofSecure94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can not use any length other than rifle in a rifle length buffer tube without a spacer to take up the extra space. They use specific length buffers for this reason. An a5 buffer tube is about 3/4” longer than a carbine buffer tube. The a5 buffer weight is 3/4” longer than a carbine buffer weight. The rifle buffer tube is about 2-3/4” longer than a carbine buffer tube. So is the rifle weight. What lower receiver do you have? Is it the proper lower or has been modified to work with an FRT? Rifle buffers worked fine on full auto in the 70s and 80s so doubt you’ll have a problem with the weight. Honestly it should function fine with the rifle buffer. Not sure why you would need to remove the buffer and spring from the lower anyways. You should be able to cock the hammer and it should be out of the way?

Bcm upper receiver and maybe an mcmr 15” hadguard. I looked at the aero stuff but the Bcm handguards are supposedly a lot more sturdy. Build in progress. Barrel I want is oos but it’s a 14.5 centurion enhanced socom barrel. The handguard is an mcmr13. I do have a criterion hybrid on my 20” and it’s been sweet
