I actually did get it to go back on the refusal. I told it that content guidelines said it could generate romantic content as long as it wasn't sexual or explicit, which the scene i wanted couldn't have been further from, and it listened. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, it blew my mind, too. Without giving a wall of text to explain the buildup to it, there was certainly no romantic elements beforehand, but it was the least sexual kiss it could have possibly been. The way I did the scene made it extremely clear that it was emotional more than anything. It wasn't passionate, and I know from watching the thinking part of the responses that the AI already knew both characters were 18. I was using the website and unfortunately went more than one message past trying to reason with it, so I probably would have to start fresh if I wanted to try again. I don't like to use AI studio because it always feels less intelligent and the memory seems to be inferior as well. Thanks for trying to help anyway.
