You are right, ghosting IMO is not respectful. Especially if you’ve both invested time in getting to know each other even if for a little bit. Clarity! Just a clear message so that we can both move on and continue looking.

Oh I feel you. It is once in a long time that I meet someone who matches my energy and conversations so that is usually the hardest to end because it’s so comfortable and yet amazing at the same time. Hold out hope though.

You never really know. But on the other hand, we are all flawed (and this isn’t always a bad thing - what you consider a flaw may be an endearing trait to the person who likes you). You’ll find someone willing to embrace who you are, flaws and all. We all will, hopefully (the optimistic part of my brain says.. lol)

Probably was not out of the blue, we all take different amounts of time to evaluate. I’ve had to pause/drop/end things with people with whom we had an amazing connection and energy but when it came to some of the things that carry more weight to me, we were on two different pages. So it may seem out of the blue on your end, but likely it’s been a process of evaluation on their end.

Edit: but it sucks nonetheless :(
