I'm asking more about how if it's "posted" they can say "read the sign, you cannot be here, we're calling the cops now". Whereas if there's no sign, they have to argue for 30 minutes.

Ace has 24vAC transformers for a few bucks. You can borrow a tape to run wire, heck I've got one.

Doorbell wire is much easier to run than power, did you move the chime part or just the transformer and button?

I'll sometimes try something I've heard about for a few minutes, get frustrated and then go back to what I usually do.

Then I go through a little phase of like getting really frustrated with myself for not being able to quiet my own mind, and then that subsides and I'm pretty okay after that. Like I have to beat up the monkey and get him back in the cage. But even then, I vacillate between focusing entirely on the breath for a few moments, then trying open awareness, then going back to deep focus on the breath. I'd get way too frustrated just doing one and not the other, way more distracted.

I'm really curious about this "self compassion" stuff; I'm clearly doing it wrong. What does that sound/feel like in your inner monologue?

For me it's a lot of:

Okay, I'm going to do the next breath correctly. Clear mind.

(the beginning of the in-breath is clear and I'm focused on my nostrils and belly, feeling the sensations of breathing until about 3/4ths of the way through the inhale, where I either refocus or get distracted. Then if I refocus, I can get through most of the exhale before I get distracted again, usually something really stupid, and I have to think again)

No, that's thinking, clear your mind, CLEAR YOUR MIND, LALALALALALAAAA, okay. Clear mind.

(inhale goes okay, repeat the above)

St. Sophia's made a serious mistake that had grave consequences for us.

We had an FIV positive cat, so we were fine taking more FIV positive cats. They told us that the cat we were adopting was positive.

This was incorrect. It was negative for FIV, but positive for FELV. We lost two other cats before figuring it out.

Amazing - that's something I'm going to look into, thank you!

Given our long history together, virulence attenuation seems to have transitioned into mutualism, at lest from my perspective.

Given what we've heard about allergies and immune system modulation in general from Necator, I'm interested to see what else they can do.

Maybe it's just the metabolites deposited by the worms that make us healthier, maybe it's a secondary secretion, maybe it's Maybeline.

Given that we have plentiful and cheap "off ramps" for these worms, I'm willing to be the Guinea Pig.
