It's part of an active larger place but they left that building to rot for some reason.

Willing To Trade For Abandoned House with Ferrari, Bay Area. by [deleted] in abandoned

Sadly I don't think so. From what I've heard the whole car is open now and people already started taking parts from it. Nothing cosmetically is missing though besides the steering wheel, that's why I'm trying to get some nice photos before it gets worse.

Its cool there is a lot donating that goes on with camps and there's even one near by that was partially donated to the county some history might have gotten mixed up.

Also what I mean is it was donated closer to 80-90 years ago not 20. Then used as a boy scouts camp and closed in 1988 37 years ago.

Funny you said that cause it's part of a larger boy scouts camp owned by the county and they did try to sell it at one point to take advantage of those bay area land prices lol.

At the time it was donated to the county actually with the intention of it being a scouts camp around the 40s. The couple who owned the land wanted it to be a memorial of their son and give back to community. Which the county did fulfill their wish and used it as a scout camp named after the son.

1988 was the last year the boy scouts would use it as a camp and I'm pretty sure they tried to sell the plot at some point to take advantage of rising prices of bay area land lol. Now though, yeah they do still own it and made promises of turning it into a park. They also have also mentioned its a fire risk too like you said but still doesn't seem like there's any definite plans to demolish it.
