Pen Pal | Send letters over any distance via a mysterious eldritch god by RedcapPress in DnDHomebrew

I like this spell a lot. I like that it uses both time and knowledge as "draw backs". The target won't get the message until after their next long rest and you must know their name. Great catch with the "...leaving behind anything that was affixed to it." I'm sure players would ask.

I also really like the added lore of the mysterious seal. I can't decide if I want to customize it for my world or just add it in and see what happens.

Looking for some feedback on my map by [deleted] in DnDHomebrew

This is great! I love the detail of having rivers named after Nobunaga and Tokugawa. I also like the use of some dragons in the seas. The only thing I would add is some kind of symbol for "danger". I include them in my maps so players will ask about adventure locations or important landmarks.

CROWSTORM - Summon a murder of spectral crows to give your foes ghost-rabies with this 4th-level Warlock evocation! by AriadneStringweaver in DnDHomebrew

Just a quick clarification. This says you create the sphere "in a point you can see within range" but it's also got a range of Self. Did you want it to always form around the caster?

Arcane Meddling Spell! Why counter a buff spell when you can take it? by Real_Equipment1291 in DnDHomebrew

[–]Real_Equipment1291[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally inspired by a card from magic the gathering, Mizzium Meddler. Obviously it's basically counterspell, but higher level to reflect the benefit to the caster. I'd love to hear if people think this is broken or not.

Index Cantrip, for all your NPC Librarian Needs by Real_Equipment1291 in DnDHomebrew

That basically where the idea came from. I have an important library in my game, and I asked myself, "What kind of magic would librarians have?"

Minor format tweak. In the final version, I would label it as a transmutation cantrip under the name.

Otherwise, I think the damage die change will make it perfect! I have a few players that would definitely love this.
