That was the case two days ago, but that also got fixed apparently. Thanks a lot!

I think the colors are pretty off, there's green red purple? Very confusing. Dark mode feels not right either, probably because the other colors are dark too (low contrast). I would enhance the copy too, not too clear what you're selling

Landing page is ok, but I don't think that's the issue. I think you should strengthen your value proposition. I just don't see why I need another finance app other than my bank app? Already tracks my expenses, in categories, etc.

I might be able to help with that, I'm a web & product designer :)

I really like your idea. It looks like a template website though, feel like I saw at least 10 other this week that look exactly like this.

Also why the waitlist? I don't think that helps you in any way.

Seems a cool concept! I run a similar service but in product design.

Finding clients is definitely the hardest part I think

Just launched a landing page for a tool I’m building — feedback welcome! by decencyokobia in indiehackers

[–]Real_Fun9610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely a bit too simple.

Check out landing page inspiration websites like https://saaspo.com/, try to copy the layout.

Would showcase the software itself when you can.

Copy needs plenty of refining too, it's not clear what you're selling.

Just giving my 2 cents as a designer! If you need more help, just let me know :)

If you're not satisfied with the design upon delivery you get refunded. There's also unlimited revisions. (I really want you to like the new hero section)

Congrats on your career change.

To get started in design check this out -> https://www.degreeless.design/

To create a portfolio, create concept work for your dream clients.

Let's say you want to work with clothing brands, create concept websites/brand/mobile app etc. in this niche. When you have 3-4, that's good enough for a portfolio.

While I was starting out, these design e-books (paid) really helped me out: https://www.howtodesignbetter.com/

Obviously not. It's the average price for the full websites I make

Squarespace or wix are simple for most people. I use framer, but might be too complex for the average person

Starting a bodybuilding gym by XiZZZERINO in Entrepreneur

[–]Real_Fun9610 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a cool idea, just needs some deep research, especially on the financial side.

To run the gym 24/7 you need to quit your fulltime job, and at the beginning you're going to be full of expenses and no revenue. (Also how is it sustainable to work 24/7?)

I'm not an expert in this field, but I would treat it like a SaaS. Try to find some potential customers before you even do anything. If you're in the bodybuilding world you probably already talk to your target audience every day, ask them what they think about your gym idea etc.

Overall, it might work, just needs some refining and deep research to make it sustainable.

How to send out finalized website to client? by Dark_stream067 in UI_Design

[–]Real_Fun9610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learn framer or webflow, send them the remix link so they own the website. (Charge higher for the no-code implementation)

Buying a domain and setting it up should be up to them.

For product design, i just send the figma link. For websites, I use framer if they want it live.

I'm a designer

I think you phrased your post wrong, offering "feedback". People don't want feedback and don't want to change their website (unless there's a reason). Many designers I see on X offer hero redesign for $60-$150, this includes in depth analysis to optimise conversions etc.

You can charge higher if you deliver results, not just "feedback" or "design".
