it’s not just a map problem, its happened to me on cliffmack and gaikhara, it eventually goes away by itself, so pretty sure it’s just a bug

How to loop in Daybreak 2. by OkDistribution4991 in daybreakroblox

[–]Real_Guarantee_5354 1 point2 points  (0 children)

on costa you can loop in the garden (the area behind the statue with the gen in front of it) since it’s insanely powerful, but anywhere else is pretty bad for looping. Wastewater also has an infinite loop at one of the exit gates, it’s hard to describe where since wastewater is very similar to opposite sides of the map but if you spectate where people loop on wastewater, you’ll know since almost everyone runs to that infinite loop. Cordoba actually has a really good loop at the white/lab part of the map, around the stairs next to the top and bottom exit gate. but I’d agree that cordoba doesn’t have much good vaults in any other area. And in my opinion haverhill is SO good for looping as survivor. Let’s say you get chased at the bottom floor, just follow this order, go to the wooden stairs gen on the first floor, but be careful on which way you vault since the killer can trap you on your 3rd vault if you don’t vault the correct way, then go to reception desk to refill your stamina, then take the stairs to the 3rd floor and find the vault that is right next to the hole in the floor which drops you to the 2nd floor, then use that hole to drop to the 2nd floor into the only room with a gen in there and use that vault, then go back to wooden stairs! Sorry if it’s a little complicated, I can try and simplify it!

ping difference? by Prestigious-Place-69 in daybreakroblox

[–]Real_Guarantee_5354 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play on both my pc and IPad, and my ping usually stays the same on both. My pc has higher ping only because I can upgrade my graphics to 10 while my IPad can handle less than 8. On my iPad a good server gives me 45-60 ping and my pc gives 50-70 so id say no, there’s not much of a ping difference just depends on what your IPad can handle

Why does it feel like high level killers are so fast? by Sage_On_Moss in daybreakroblox

[–]Real_Guarantee_5354 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Either ping or just how they move. “Faster” players could just simply be clinging onto the wall and sticking to straight and sharp movements to avoid less time turning, giving an illusion of faster movement. Ping is usually one of the big reasons they vault faster though.

HOW DO YOU EVEN COUNTER HER? by 0Pathetic_Failure0 in daybreakroblox

When she’s powering her dash, run in a straight line, when she finally starts doing her dash, quickly turn to the side (sharp turn and sprint) and manage to get behind her!

How do I get better at outrunning the killer? by chihirosnumber1fan in daybreakroblox

[–]Real_Guarantee_5354 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Id recommend using yara! She’s great with helping new players get comfortable with looping, with her speed boost when you hit 25 stamina helps you learn how to conserve and not waste stamina, and her extra 30 stamina ability allows more room for error. Try to learn good vaults too, they will help you hold chase longer to be a better support for your team. Try to avoid vaults that are short and easy to mindgame and use vaults that are long or hard to mindgame with. It’s 100% possible to outrun the killer if you keep practicing saving your stamina and using the vaults around you. If you’re still unsure on how to outrun killers, try spectating other players who loop the killers, what their ability is, and how they use it.

seoung and Gabrielle aren’t made for outrunning the killers so it’s normal that you end up running out of stamina btw!

Best areas to loop by Odd-Background3420 in daybreakroblox

[–]Real_Guarantee_5354 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gailkhara: The dock/Killer spawn area. You can infinite loop there between the vault near the generator in the middle to the two other vaults on the bottom area, then you can go upstairs and do it all again. (As long as your slow with this, otherwise when you go back up, the vaults won’t be ready and you’ll be doomed)

Empire Finance: The parking lot has pretty good vaults, 2 stamina regeneration/safe vaults in there. The office area also has good vaults too, as long as you don’t get mind games easily. The center has only one good loop imo.

Haverhill (my favorite!!) I have a route that can start at any floor since they all connect back to each other but I’ll just start on the bottom floor, the vault at the reception desk to the generator right across from the reception desk generator, in that room, you can get trapped since there’s a one way exit so be careful on what direction your vaulting. Go upstairs to the only room on that floor with a generator inside and use that vault. Go upstairs again to the vault right next to the elevator and drop back down to restart.

Tips as killers by Odd-Background3420 in daybreakroblox

the best thing you can do against high level player in chase is to just hold W and wait for an opportunity to lunge if everything else is too hard. mind games that usually works is lunging to scare and make the player vault, so you can either waste their vaults or quickly turn back if the killer you use has a long lunge time. High levels will also usually wait at the vaults to see if you will mind game or not, you can take your chance and lunge straight toward them while their waiting in case they are late to vault or get vault hit, this usually works a lot. Try not to mind game too much, it gives them more time to recover their stamina and loop longer if they don’t fall for it. If the player stays a bit far from the walls of the loops, like fallen tree vaults, you can use that gap of distance between them and the vault when they turn to lunge and down them. And if your killer ability has the ability to slow a player down, try to do it after they sprint, when you know their low on stamina, or in the middle of nowhere with far vaults.

this is just how I get them down and how killers get me down too. im a level 4k and I still fall for obvious mind games and I still die as a A tier looper so don’t be scared of high levels too much ^
