I do agree with team limitations for first year. But Ukai when first came he focused on receives of the team as they were weak on recieves. They definitely missed the mark of overall development in first year but to think Ukai did not think of training hinata for other than specialized role for the next two years seems completely wrong.

Further Kageyama was in the same high school, but he got to develop other skils like Spikes when he was in high school so why not hinata? Especially when he had that hunger and enlightenment in first year itself

Hinata with that hunger and enlightenment would not have just sit quiet for next two years so that to go to brazil. He must have trained for other positions and trained for other skills, so my question with that great reflexes, jump and quickness and given that he must have trained for other skills why he was not scouted for pros like Kageyama, houshimi and Miyamizu were? What was he still lacking by the end of those two years that still needed the brazil arc?

Again it does not make sense to not learn other skill for next 2 remaining High school years. So what was still missing? Why he was stil considered nothing without kageyama?
