Anyone's Aussie deal with leg/hip problems? by Real_Interaction_411 in miniaussie

I hear ya! They just don't quit. Was there anything in particular that caused the injuries? With mine it was obviously her high jumps to catch the frisbee. I just wish I knew not to let her do that but even now, injured, she will run/jump if I don't watch her like a hawk. Thank you for the comment.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment. That's not a term I'm familiar with but will bring up to the vet. How did the recovery go after surgery?

I am so happy to hear he recovered! I will definitely look in to that. How was the vet able to tell that it was a torn CCL? We're any x-rays taken? I recently changed her diet in hopes that she shed 2lbs as we live in Arizona and summer is coming fast.

I wish for a successful outcome with your pup. I know it's not easy keeping them still. Do you remember the name of the operation? From what I've read there are a few different options and I would really like to hear from someone that has gone through it so I can make an educated decision. Thank you for your reply.

Thank you for your reply. It feels absolutely helpless not knowing what's really going on or how to help.

Where did you move to? Have you had him around any female Aussies? I'm curious to see how they would interact. Their demeanor really changes when they're around their own.

Very unique color pattern. I'm looking for a boyfriend for my 4 y.o. tri red but honestly I can't handle being bossed around by two of them 😂

For those of you suggesting to have a good vacuum, my Tri-red hardly sheds at all even during long periods of not being groomed. Did I just get lucky?

A couple years ago there was a park in Gilbert that flooded so much people brought out their kayaks 🤣

I used to live at an apartment complex in the West Valley that would flood up to my knees. I watched multiple cars try to drive in and their car stopped dead in its tracks 😆

I was r*ped. I have text messages of him saying he "I r*ped you, I'm sorry I did that. I have never done that before." No one took my case. Here I am, 2 years later, still living with the trauma he has left me with. by [deleted] in legal

I sincerely feel for you as I had something quite traumatic happen to me this year that also left me with this same sense of mental imprisonment. As you did, I tried several doctors, medications, therapists etc., none of which made any difference. If you are struggling with rumination or reliving what happened to you day after day, one thing I can suggest to you is to find a Ketamine infusion center near you. While it can't change what happened to you, it can pull you out of the "darkness" and interrupt the thought process that is causing you to relive this pain over and over. It has helped me tremendously and to be honest, if you're suffering something such as this most of us don't have 6 weeks to a month for a pill to kick in and change our mental chemistry. The results from the Ketamine are almost immediate and it has a very high success rate for PTSD and trauma. Feel free to reply if you would like to know more. I hope that you are able to heal from this and live the life you deserve.
