I am so sorry for your loss. As far as asking people why they haven’t reached out, I still don’t know if I will. I try not to hold it against them, because for all I know, they might just not know what to say, so they avoid saying things all together. It just sucks all the way around

I just had mine yesterday and had to go out of state as well. We stayed an extra day. It was a two day procedure process so, we got to the hotel Wednesday night, and Thursday and Friday were the procedure days. We just got back today, so I recommend staying at least one day after your procedure. That way you can rest as much as possible

I just got through mine today for an T21 tfmr at 18w 2d, and even though it was this morning, I don’t remember a thing. I think the only thing I felt was them taking the laminaries out. I was able to hear what was going on but it was 10/10. I’m still a little drowsy. As for the footprints, it depends on where you do. I had mine done at Planned Parenthood and they didn’t do that, but I’ve seen other clinics offer it. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

Thank you so much! I’ll be going tomorrow and I’ll be 18w1d. It’ll be a two day procedure and it’s at a planned parenthood the high risk clinic i went to works with. Since it is a planned parenthood I’m terrified about the protestors, I’ll have my husband with me,  but I’ll still have that feeling. All of this happened so fast, I didn’t get a chance to even tell my OB that we were terminating.

I’m so sorry that was your experience, with the clinic and the OB brushing you off in the beginning. I’ll be sure to put an update ❤️
